It’s not a wild take at all. I fix a lot of electricians eff ups when they attempt low voltage. We just fixed a mansion. $15K after the electricians cut all the low voltage wires as if they are roughing in electrical! I could tell you some crazy horror stories we had to fix after electricians! You may very well be qualified but the majority I’ve seen are not.

Yeah, that’s not good advice! We fix a lot of that stuff and it’s much more expensive to fix someone else’s mistakes!

You have a configuration issue most likely. Maybe something like all the settings maxed out and not optimized. As far as the browser that is an issue in a native browser. Have you tried to install the plugin for the browser?

With 5 x 4 mp and 2 tb storage you can get close to 30 days especially by adjusting the settings that I sent you earlier.

That’s not how it works. You could have the exact same system and 1 could record 7 days and the other 30 days. They are fully customizable.

Those devices don’t really like patch panels and patch cables. I’d try to terminate the cable directly into the device instead of the patch panel. AV Pro Edge makes a good device but like you said a computer might be less.
