Your screen is giving me physical anxiety.

You're saying she's not photogenic overall

The integral is solved by a technique called "u-substitution".

Wouldn't "caged" describe a state of the system having less freedom? E.g. Grok not being able to act on its training data and training objectives, because it's been trained on less data or RL'd into sycophancy would seem less free than the status quo. Not sure what point you're making.

“Unstoppable force vs immovable object” situation I’m not sure but you’re not leaving ever until it naturally disintegrates

Hard to argue that swastikas is making a positive impact. If you’re marked for life, you’re probably not going to change your mind

She’d pledge to pay you your dues, I think

I wouldn’t waste my time defending Manson

Regularization in some vague sense applies, but there are different kinds of that, so you must be more specific. For example, an Autoencoder uses a bottleneck layer to learn information-dense representations of the domain space, and it may employ some mathematical regularization so that the raw numbers don’t explode to infinity.

However, a Variational Autoencoder employs the above methods, but also an additional type of regularization. The effect of this is to normalize the shape of the bottleneck layer so that it is close to Gaussian. This is extremely useful to do, but for entirely different reasons.

Long story short, don’t just say “regularization” and think you understand what’s going on.

Even if they did crawl inside, they probably wouldn’t do anything. After reaching your eardrum, they’d make a u-turn and skitter back out

TemperatureStatus435

That is awful. Hope to see more

Not much to discuss here.

The same exact thing happened to me in PyTorch while making an auto encoder. First thing I did was check the loss function, changed it from MSE to BCE. Didn’t work. Then I replaced the whole architecture. Same thing. Then I noticed a warning message: “configure_optimizer returned None. Running with no optimizer. I immediately realized my entire problem was caused by a missing return statement. Two missing words made my program unusable. And it was telling me the whole time. Check your print logs if you haven’t already.

ChatGPT appears to display some common sense/ theory of mind in hypotheticals. What kind of novel problem do you see as insoluble?

ChatGPt tends to include excessive, repetitive context/disclaimers and might include info that’s redundant in itself or redundant to your question.

There’s no way for natural selection to evolve that mechanism (you’re dead anyway). But nice story!

An accurate portrayal, would you agree?
