No worries! They re-explain everything for youngins like us who weren't around since 1963. I'm so jealous of you. I wish I could watch Doctor Who for the first time again.

Just start at the reboot, the series that begins in 2005. The first episode is a bit low budget but it evens out very quickly and there are a ton of solid episodes. There's a lot of good content in Doctor Who in every season and honestly even though it's 10 seasons right now, it's still worth starting at the beginning.
Though you probably could jump in at any season and be fine, I'd at least recommend that if you do that you start with a season that has a new Doctor/new companion, as they tend to explain things a bit more.

No you can't get your Vicodin/Percocet/Ativan/Klonopin 5 days early just because tomorrow is a holiday.

"In this line" is in reference to this:
A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
Which is quoted in the parent comment of this chain, and thus is correct.

Tesla opened their patents so maybe not

I agree EOS has a ton of hype with pretty much nothing behind it. Just vague promises of "solving scalability". K.

The story the guy posted here about not hearing his wife being raped downstairs makes me not want noise-cancelling headphones :/

"Police Constable Nicholas Angel."

I honestly don't think it matters. The Tesla app experience shouldn't be your deciding factor in iOS vs Android, as the Tesla experience will probably be the same either way.

I have a pixel, and my friend has an S8. Pixel definitely lags less. I actually have only ever seen lag on my phone a couple of times in the last few months and it's my primary device.

Voyager definitely comes into it's stride.

Bo-Taoshi. Japanese game.

I mean, I was talking about what /u/renegade_division posted, but yikes.

I only know that for Amazon you can complain that USPS delivered a day late and you'll get a free month of prime. Apparently you can "only get 12 free months a year". I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

None of your quoted texts says "you might not get tokens if you give us money"

👊word. Yeah most people respect our opinions and professional advice but you get a douche more often than not. Honestly about the same frequency as any other retail job.

It's the next major update in the roadmap that's set to switch us from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. I believe Vitalik has mentioned they're hoping to bring the block time down to ~2-4s
Edit: it's not next, but next after Metropolis, which is slated for this year. Serenity is end of year/next year.

Haha damn. I probably would have just said something like "fine with me but I'm documenting that you refused to tell me what else you're taking so if you die, I don't lose my license" and just filled it :x
TenNineteenOne
Haha doesn't hurt. I've paid my dues, with my fair share of shot jobs, shit bosses, shit hours, and definitely shit pay.
TenNineteenOne
Word. Trust me, we don't mind those questions at all.
TenNineteenOne
Yeah it's not so bad. I've worked retail my whole life so it's pretty much the same stuff as before, just the drama dialed way up.

What I'm gonna do is estimate capital gains by saying "how much did I just sell, and what was that worth when I purchased it?".
So in your example, you'd be selling 25 ETH, which was worth $250 when you bought it. So cap gains would be ($7500-$250) x 0.33 = $2392.50.
If you sold another 25 @ $1000 each in another year, you'd calculate cap gains by ($25000-$250) x 0.33 = $8167.50. If you're doing long term cap gains, that 0.33 would be 0.20.
You'd always calculate what you're selling now minus what it was worth when you purchased times cap gain rate. It's still "all profit" in the grand scheme, but cap gains are on the exact amount of profit.
I have Google Music and Spotify and I tend to go back and forth where one month I'll use GPM almost exclusively and another month I'll barely touch it.
If I had to drop one, I'd probably drop Spotify. Discover Weekly only ever has maybe two songs I like, and Release Radar might have 3 or 4. Both are all over the place though since I listen to such a wide variety of music.
GPM has way better radio stations, especially for my favorite genre (30s-40s swing). It's also nice that I can look back in my play queue instead of just forward. I like their recommendations more. The Google-made playlists are actually good, where I've never been a big fan of Spotify's (why are so many of them rap? There are dozens of other kinds of music and maybe 5% of what I listen to is hip-hop. Stop showing me 5 fucking Trap and Gangsta rap playlists!). The fact that I can block explicit songs in radio stations is a game-changer for listening at work.
That kind of got away from me. If you're happy with GPM, don't get Spotify.
