For Android auto to work you need to set the app to redirect audio only mode. Android Auto needs both HFP and A2DP to start.

Shizuku is either not installed or not running. Shizuku is required for the app to work

Your feelings matter but it's important to recognize that they are not the same thing as your thoughts. Feelings are not facts. And the best way to combat the anxiety in your feelings is to have that conversation with your partner. And then have it again. And then have it again. Our bodies need sustained proof over time for them to relax. It sounds like your partner's willing and able to help you with that, but the ownness is on you to bring it up with your partner every time that it enters your mind.
You are currently letting your fears run the show. And again, not that your fears are not justified... But we have to stop allowing them to drive the vehicle of our lives.
I can be a pretty sensitive person as well, and my partner, on occasion will say something that comes across extremely cold-hearted to me. But when I address my feelings with them without approaching my partner like she is the problem the resulting conversation is always super helpful and the circumstance never repeats. Having a partner that cares enough to try is so important.
Another thing.. Real affection does not come with strings or limits. To to truly love someone is to give them the tools to break us and trusting in them not to. I would rather love my partner with all my heart even if something unpredictable could happen down the way which results in me getting hurt, because then I will at least know that I did everything right on my end. Whether they were capable of meeting me where I needed them to.. It wouldn't change the fact that I still tried

imho it's better to be authentically yourself on a first date or any date... the thrill of knowing that the person you are interested in is on the same page as you is overwhelmingly positive. And if they aren't then you saved yourself a considerable amount of time and heartbreak down the line. I see it as a win win

I approach intimacy from a giving perspective, not a taking perspective. My idea of intimacy is communicating and reading my partner to make her melt and forget everything for however brief a time. I also happen to enjoy the foreplay so i will service her for as long as her body responds positively to it. In most cases the foreplay lasts quite a while and sometimes she's unable to move and function for a while and I don't get a turn until some time has gone by which is perfectly fine by me. It's not uncommon for the time to conclude without having traditional intercourse and yet we are both very satisfied.
I say all of this because we are all unique individuals... with our own wants, needs, attachments, and aversions... and at the end of the day there is no unified correct way to make love. and frankly good intimacy is way more about good communication than it is about touching each other.
Communication isn't just about what you want, it's also about listening to your own body and not being afraid to tell your partner what you don't want or like. If intimacy makes you uncomfortable but you want it to be then find a way to slowly work toward it. That might mean keeping things above the waist for a few weeks or months. It might mean keeping a layer of clothing on or keeping the lights on. It might also mean having some white noise, tv, or music on. Maybe role play.
The goal isn't getting off or bearing your soul to your partner... it's whatever makes you feel good.

The triggers and the trauma stored in your body are powerful.. And honestly, my dude, the only real way to overcome them are to prioritize peace in your life above all else. The feelings you have are strong and real, and it's so important that you acknowledge them instead of making them the enemy and trying to push them down.
Those feelings are like the crying child inside of you that just wants to be picked up and loved. And honestly, the really crappy thing about healing is that we have to be our own healers. We have to be the ones to recognize the crying child and to pick it up and to love it. Not necessarily because no 1 else will, but it's no 1 else's job to do so..
Okay. So the next time your feelings go running wild, just remember it's okay to have them. But it's not okay to let them decide what you're going to do next.
Testpilot1988
I think of it like resonance in physics. People that vibrate in harmony will resonate and vibrate more powerfully together. Life isn't a competition of how many people you can resonate with, but finding the right people that you do resonate with will make life more enjoyable.
Not everyone is for you. In fact most people aren't for you. And that's ok. Just make sure that when you are out and about in the wild that you vibrate as authentically YOU as possible. Don't try to be someone you're not. It's so much better to be a polarizing presence because you will quickly find out who your people are.
Vibrate with Authenticity. Resonate with Joy 😊

Yea this is a tough one... your body remembers all the trauma from the past, closely watches people you care about (and don't care about), and quickly reacts when a certain tone is used or a text is read but not responded to or something is forgotten that you wouldn't have forgotten...
Honestly this is gonna feel like nails on a chalkboard but nothing resolves these triggers apart from directly confronting them but you need to do so from a place of love and curiosity rather than panic and hurt.
It would look something like this:
#1 You are triggered
#2 You are in your feelings about it
#3 You accept that your feelings are real but they aren't necessarily true
#4 You open the conversation with the other person telling them how their words/actions affected you and making it clear that you are not accusing them of trying to hurt you but rather that being hurt was the end result none the less and that you'd like to talk about whether or not that was their intention and if not then let's discuss how to better communicate in similar circumstances because both of us want to be understood correctly going forward.
This is where one of two things will happen.... either they are entirely empathetic and will be more than happy to work with you on this... or their ego will take over and they'll make it all about them and how they did nothing wrong. I pray that the prior is your experience because there is nothing you can do about the latter. We cannot change people that have no desire to open the door to it.

Recognizing our ctpsd and choosing to heal from it starts with recognizing unhealthy boundaries and ultimately redefining them. I've learned that boundaries are not a mechanism to keep others out but rather an invitation to let the people we care about in and they are not permanent by design.
Healthy boundaries tell people that they have access to us on the condition that they are able to respect us. It isn't a threat to kick them out. it's informing them that they key you granted them will be revoked if they are inconsiderate about how they behave in your space.
So if you are getting meaner with people that are supposed to care about you or better yet... whom claim to care about you but their actions don't match their words... then you are approaching the realization that they are disrespecting your boundaries and what you're really struggling with is how much access you are going to continue allowing them to have to you.
It's terribly unfortunate that many of us must learn that loving someone from a distance is a real option. But changing people is in most cases impossible so we must chose to honor and respect ourselves instead and often times that requires taking a step back from them.

Grief for the life unlived is a very real thing. And sadly no matter how much you try to fill that void as an adult it will never feel real enough. That's because our foundation can't be rewritten. But our future is another story.
Healing to me is like like draining the murky lake that you were constantly struggling to cross. You can clear the lake but it wont remove the obstacles hiding in the murk, it just makes them easier to see. And frankly that's both beautiful and tragic because i'll always have to carry the knowledge of those obstacles with me either way...

This is just a really nice looking reskin of your other music player app. so I downloaded that 1 for comparison. it doesn't appear as though there is an option to selectively choose which folders the music you play comes from. Or the ability to sort the music by folders In the player which is a deal breaker for me. if you update your new app to allow sorting music by folders I would be happy to purchase it.

I typically let my agents make the sites and just test them locally before I deploy them or deploy changes to them via webdav, wrangler, or ssh. But to each his own.

While there's absolutely nothing wrong with what you've built.. pocketID is pretty much as simple as it gets for me. for every new user or account it just creates a passkey. it's my go-to for oauth

This should be a free download with a one week in-app trial followed by IAP for lifetime license.
Things not mentioned in your post;
Does it have Android Auto Support?
Does it support track tag editing?
Does it support multi folder specific music selection rather than an all-device music scan?
Can the user permanently remove/dismiss the "did you know" and "loved ones" containers on the home screen? I dont want to see that stuff when I open the app every time.
You say no account needed... so what is the account login for? Just to sync playlists and listening stats?

Ping me if you end up implementing that feature. Not sure how else I can stay on top of your releases
Testpilot1988
Gotcha. The only reason why I'll probably stay with KDE Connect is that it also lets me use my phone as a virtual keyboard and trackpad for my computer which is a nice feature to have. Otherwise it seems like you've written a nice piece of software
Testpilot1988
I definitely appreciate your comparison to KDE Connect. my question to you is, does the clipboard sink from android automatically? Because with KDE Connect I have to push every copy that I make
Testpilot1988
The interface is simple, but blinding and somewhat dull. you really should implement light and dark modes throughout the entire app. also, you should implement a continuous listening translation in addition to the current conversational system which relies on 1 person speaking at a time and having to keep pressing the microphone button to continue speaking after the initial translation.
Everything otherwise works as it's built

I'm currently using the razor turret keyboard and mouse. the thing that annoys me about the synapse software is that there's nowhere to to disable device time out. at best, the longest time out I can get is 15 minutes, I believe.
It's a colossal pain in the ass, because reconnection typically takes, like, 10 seconds every time.
What I'd like to know is, 1st of all, if it's possible to adjust or even completely disable device timeout...
If it's possible, then I can test this with the razor turret and mouse.

You mentioned quite a lot of things in your comment. Firstly, the link that you provided is not for my app, and I have never used the app that you linked. So I can't give you a comparison.
Second, my bluetooth priority app will allow you to designate any Bluetooth device to redirect your audio. In the case of Android Auto specifically you will be able to redirect your calls, but you will not be able to redirect your music/media because Android Auto owns your music/media.
It is likely that you will experience upwards of 10 seconds of Bluetooth theft from your android auto device as the app works to keep reasserting your call to the right Bluetooth device until the Android auto gives up (typically, this takes no more than 10 seconds). After that you should have exactly what you are looking for, which is your phone calls being routed to whichever device you designate.
If for whatever reason, you experience issues, or are less than satisfied, please reach out to me and I'd be happy to work with you on it or refund you directly.
Testpilot1988
The priority device is the one that your audio is routed/reasserted to.
Your car shouldnt be the primary device.... its typically the one trying to steal from the primary device.
Android auto owns your music no matter what even if a different priority device is connected. Phone calls on the other hand will be rerouted to your primary device
Testpilot1988
Looks a lot like https://gatwy.dev/
Android Auto has permissions that are unrevocable. Even if you turn them off, they will come back on. Android Auto will always own your music. "Redirect audio only" mode on Bluetooth priority app is necessary when AA is involved if your goal is to redirect just the phone calls from it to the priority device of your choosing. (Yours is currently set to "Block Calls" mode. You will still experience a few seconds of the Bluetooth tug of war, but it should work.
If you are still having issues, you can DM me, I'm the developer. We can either work together to sort them out, or I can provide you with a refund.
It's rare, but sometimes aftermarket head units do not play well with the app. Which can't be helped, because I haven't had the opportunity to test the app against every single aftermarket manufacturer.
