CCTV Camera footage shows it was very clearly in the valet parking lane. The sidewalk isn't very wide there, so it is maybe 9-12 feet from the door, but isn't actually blocking it, and any vehicle waiting for a valet would be that distance away if they parked directly in front of the doors.

So you're saying he has the same chance as the settled law of Roe v. Wade being overturned in the supreme court.

Let's look at what you said in the context in which you said it.

Politically [the LGBTQ movement is] killing the Democratic Party on elections.

This election was driven by inflation, the constant focus on trans rights I feel is why every swing state went red.

Swing states turned "red" in the presidential politics context. So saying "the constant focus on trans rights" indicates that you felt the presidential campaign focused on them.

Who ran for president? Kamala. Who didn't run on trans issues? Kamala. Should she have? It'd have been nice for her to push back a bit on the rhetoric they were using, but no, I think maybe not campaigning with war criminals and refusing to acknowledge that normal people don't measure the economy in the same metrics they wanted them to would have been far more effective. Maybe when everyone was hoping for things to be different she should have said she'd have done anything different from Joe Biden. But, no, the LGBTQ+ movement is the one "killing the democratic party on elections."

I'm not expecting trans rights to be number one, I just would like it for the democrats to not throw the LGBTQ+ community under the bus for political expediency.

Kamala only said she would “follow the law” on trans issues and didn’t campaign on it AT ALL. republicans were the ones running those ads and centrist democrats that thought Liz Cheney was a good idea are the only ones throwing the LGBTQ+ community under the bus after the election.

But sure, let’s run on banning LGBTQ+ rights next time, that way we can choose between two parties that want to actually harm us. Maybe some republicans will vote for them this time.

Ah, yes. Curse foundry's dice roller's sudden but inevitable betrayal!

My group installed an alternate dice roller into the system so it would be less likely to do this. We are generally happy with that one, though I can't recall what the name of the module is.

Voyager would have been great if they made Year of Hell the entire series. The fact that they considered making it a full season arc and then were like "nah, 2-parter is all we need" and that was a disappointment.

I remember after Scorpion they had all that borg shit on Voyager and I was so excited to see what it would do, and within an episode they had completely reset the ship back to factory defaults and I was really annoyed.

Bees. My god.

They did, and now it's the law of the land until we have a constitutional amendment to say no, in fact, the president is not immune to any criminal prosecutions and official acts are, indeed, admissible as evidence.

The argument is that the conversation with Hicks was an "official act" and therefore not admissible, the phone calls from the white house were "official acts" and not admissible, and the tweets he made about Cohen were "official acts" and not admissible. Even with all that thrown out he probably would still have been convicted, but they are trying to argue that he wouldn't have been if that evidence wasn't there.

The supreme court ruling said you can't use official acts/correspondence to prove a private crime. The evidence in the article was all after he became president, so they are arguing it's all protected via the supreme court ruling and should be thrown out.

It's not impossible for him to be convicted without it, but it does make it more difficult, and that's why they are trying to get that evidence discarded and have a retrial.

So if Biden has a heart attack tomorrow and dies we're doomed because he's the only person in the entire country capable of defeating Trump?

Aw, really? I liked the Land Fit for Heroes series, RKM going TERF is very disappointing.

If it is an at will state it might very well be fine, they can fire you for any reason that isn’t protected from discrimination. “I want to give your job to my brother” isn’t protected by law

This is his channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Shaun_vids

His format is a lot different from Hbomb. He has a far less visual presentation and he never shows himself on the screen (just his skull avatar).

You may have heard his voice in some Hbomb videos though (he was the libertarian Rational Bear character in the climate change video).

Florida has no jurisdiction there. It either gets reversed by the Supreme Court or the ruling stays.

He gives a very good overview of academic citations, including when you should be citing sources even if you aren't quoting a work directly.

His credits say "Based on the reporting of Viola Zhou and Koh Wew" so those two would probably be a good starting place.

Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

Marketing, probably

It will be fine. I've seen it a bunch and I don't recall ever seeing anything explicitly homophobic in the film. Just a bit dated at this point, some of the tech has moved on quite a lot since it came out, but overall it is still a good film and has a lot of very quotable moments (and spawned a few memes).

The BBB is a private organization with no regulatory authority, and is mainly just there to launder the reputations of companies. The BBB is not someone you should report anything to, and labor disputes and potential crimes are extremely outside their wheelhouse (consumer complaint resolution).

Mid 30s American here, always happy to make new friends and will be playing BG3 on pc. PM me for a discord handle if you want to chat/play stiff sometime :)

It's possible that these design decisions were scrapped during this long silence. They haven't said much about the game since HSL was taken off the project, and the screenshots we got aren't revealing much.
