honestly, if you have the choice to select your hero, this mode is what stadium could easily become. It keeps the same fun aspects while not feeling as long and drawn out.

Ever since she was released, even when she was briefly very good at first, I've always hated pylon in concept. It's such a boring ability (which feelsOW1 in spirit).
If the healing turret concept did not work for Sym,, I don't get why they brought it back for Illari. At least, make it so it has some kind of interaction with her kit (firing her beam at the pylon increases healings/heals multiple teammates in sight and Illari shooting the pylon could deal damages to the enemy team idk).
I feel like adding some simple iterations could make her good again, but playing into the gun blade aspect of her weapon is also very cool.

Exactly ! I'm team support but at the end of the day I just want them to commit to something : either she goes full on utility with some healing added to her kit or she becomes a teleporting killing machine.

you'll get downvoted to hell but honestly I'd say yes.

If the devs keep moving away "utility" from the dps heroes, I'm afraid Sym will get lost and end up a mess. Teleporter already sounds like more of a support ability than a dps ability.

My take is that she should have maybe been part of the original 5, Emre taking her place as the season 2 hero. Sierra had the toughest job coming right after Season 1 and her place in the lore/kit/cinematic weren't solid enough.

Looooove the idea of a vampire hero but I also love the concept of a white snake support. I wish they could have tweaked his og silhouette into a full fledged hero, with maybe other changes to not be Moira 2.0
