Yeah, I’m prepared for that, don’t mind paying VAT

TheColdNeverLasts

It’s just some stationary and other bits for a birthday present including shipping from Brussels it was about £130

Help

TheColdNeverLasts

I got it from Art From the Heart in Harrogate I had notifications on and bought as soon as the email came through. They sold out pretty quickly, and you could only buy one of any point size.
I know Hunter Paper Co got some stock and I often buy from Stilo&Stile in Rome, they ship to the UK and had some stock. Not sure if they still do.

Keep an eye out on All Things Analogue or Art from the Heart they are really good with comms about upcoming drops. Also, All Things Analogue are one of the very few (maybe only) UK Travellers Company partner shops and sell exclusive Travellers Factory stock

I’d completely lost myself in technology that the impact of pen to paper had disappeared. It’s become a little book of my musings and life.

I use the Galen leather co. Leather Balm. It’s really wonderful and a little goes a long way but does take a while to dry down and absorb into the leather.

TheColdNeverLasts

It’s a Tools to Live by pouch. I got it from the Journal Shop, online in the UK

My starter fountain pen was a Kaweco Sport in M nib. Smooth as butter. I’ve since moved on to TWSBI eco which are filled through bottles but honestly the writing experience is unmatched.

However, Pilot Kakuno! Wow! For a value starter pen around $12-15 I was blown away. As with most Japanese nibs they run fine the M nib seems more of a fine nib in my opinion. I would 100% recommend that but remember they only take pilot cartridges not standard ink cartridges.

You absolutely get it. So my passport holds 3 inserts use this as my daily carry with the undated 6 month diary insert, a blank for musings and random scribing, finally a passport size photo paper book where I stick mini Polaroids I take through the month. I also have a Galen Leather Passport insert in there. Before I got the 25th Anniversary card sized i also used it as my wallet.

The regular is my common place, everything my brain finds curious is put in there from books, to interesting people, artists, film, media, fountain pen ink swatches, travel journal, ticket stub storage. Gosh there’s so much in there.

The card size is my wallet the canvas insert that came with it is great but I found a great tiny leather bi-fold card wallet that I have also popped in for more card storage. I haven’t actually written in the card sized insert books yet as I’m waiting to see if they release replacements.

What a sensational collection. I refer to all the dings and scratches on the leather as ‘journey marks’. The patina on your cognac is looking great too!

TheColdNeverLasts

I’m totally not enabling (I absolutely am). I fell down the fountain pen rabbit hole a couple of years ago and it’s been a joy

TheColdNeverLasts

I absolutely love them. It’s by an artist called Tim Holtz. He does papers, fabrics, prints, embellishments, stamps everything. It was from his Halloween collection. I got it from a Stationary store called Art From the Heart in a little town near where I live in Harrogate, England.

The charm is a whimsical joy!

TheColdNeverLasts

…. When you think you’ve got all you could ever want or need…. Along comes something else. A merry go round I never want to end 🤣

TheColdNeverLasts

Did I need another pouch / cloth bag? No…. Could I resist it with that quote on, also no 🙃

TheColdNeverLasts

I get plain craft a5 journals and I reuse, buy books, journaling sheets or old thrifted books to make covers

TheColdNeverLasts

Never apologise, I’m easily influenced 🙃. I have been toying with an idea of Polaroid a day with just 3 words underneath. Each notebook would be a month and I’m going to name them chapters. I feel the A6 would be prefect for this!

TheColdNeverLasts

The Trifold is just perfect! Love your aesthetic! I too go for a spooky, dark gothic set up.

TheColdNeverLasts

Just seeing yours may have just swayed my decision

TheColdNeverLasts

Absolutely beautiful and such a perfect size for a daily carry! I have the A5 Le Trifold and I absolutely love it. Currently have 3 slim notebooks and a think Tomoe Rover Galen Leather notebook as my current set up. I will say… it’s HEAVY as a daily carry alongside everything else. I’m so tempted by the A6 I’ve been so close to hitting pay a number of times today.

TheColdNeverLasts

These are great, thanks. I’ll check them out and maybe add them to next months list if I want to eat for the rest of the month

TheColdNeverLasts

I’ve been looking for my first bolt action pen. What brand would you recommend? Your blue one is spectacular

TheColdNeverLasts

The fire blue is amazing! I didn’t get them in a sale, I got them from a local independent family run stationer near where I live. I had a strong word with myself following this purchase 🙃

TheColdNeverLasts

It is a Supra. It’s really interesting in its concept it has a middle barrel that can be removed to convert it to a pocket fountain pen. The nib is much larger than its sport & special siblings and larger than I’m used to. Looking forward to getting used to writing with it
