The downvotes will always crack me up in this situation. I’m fully for respecting privacy and all that other stuff, but gatekeeping knowledge of a retired talent’s more current ongoings is ridiculous.
Have a little orange arrow, friend. OP should definitely check them out.

Leaving this as a standalone comment because someone else asked for share codes. My profile has Biboo and Ina so far, though I anticipate making more as I get a better rhythm and flow. I am not a livery creative, I suck at these tbh (at least the background elements and other flair) but I'm trying to get better. Hope anyone enjoys them if they like them enough to download!

Yes, sorry, I completely forgot I was doing that before work distracted me. There's also some Ina liveries as well under my profile. Here's some info:

Goddamn that’s some high quality art

My half-awake brain thought that was a Leonine Misbegotten from Elden Ring for a second, and I was confused what sub I was in 😂
Awesome art!

This is always my problem with NMS. I do really like the game, it has a lot of fun bits, but none of them ever seem to really feel like they matter much in the grand scheme? It’s a carnival, the rides are fun for a go-around, but eventually you lap the area and either ride ‘em again or grab some funnel cake and head home.
I’ve definitely played a hundred or two hours of it, so not trying to trash it. It’s just one of those games that’s fun to come back to every year or two and check out all the new things added. The culmination of those updates is usually a solid new ~25 hour experience. And that’s fine.
I think for NMS to have more staying power, at least for me personally, it would need some kind of combat + flight model overhaul and some kind of long term progression model (that doesn’t consist of reloading instances for S-rank ships/modules/whatnot). The combat is incredibly easy to reach a point where everything you remotely look at dies, and the flight is just a touch too arcade-y for me.

Oh yep, that all… that all resonates quite strongly lmao, I say, as I glance over at mail that’s sitting on the edge of my kitchen table because I need to handle it. Could it go in the mail bin with all the others? Sure, if I want to forget about its existence entirely. Glad to know my people exist.

Was playing with a buddy using Seamless Co-op; got invaded. I didn’t realize they’d added invasions to the mod, so I assumed - after 1-shotting the person with 352 HP - that they were an NPC.
My friend was quick to point out that 1) it was a human and 2) they had DLC gear. Sorry little person, 352 HP means you’re basically a non-aggressive fauna.

Your comment on desensitization is accurate, but I think more than that, people don’t mind a bit of violence with their (maybe loose) definitions of justice.
And to be fair - Alastor doesn’t seek to mete out justice, but he does seem to have some kind of moral code that guides his actions.
Survival of the fittest, if the fittest can even compete - Alastor does not take kindly to those who harass those of ‘fairer means’.
We’re all Nifties at heart - hunting for a bad boi. Val’s flavor of bad is… well, you’ve already outlined it pretty well lol. A bit beyond.

People are certainly entitled to their opinions and interests, (and this is mine) but I think Bojack is objectively a good show, whether you like the art or not. I think a lot of people are too quick to judge something based on one single aspect; but all things are multifaceted. Not enjoying one single face of a thing, and denying its others, really limits one’s ability to experience new things.
Tl;dr — enjoy the Bojack ride. It’s phenomenal(ly sad).

Hazbin a few rewatches.
Then rewatched The Owl House to cry a lot.
Then rewatched Gravity Falls to squee over Bill a lot.
Then rewatched Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts to cry some more (while listening to dope soundtrack).
Next up is She-Ra after Kipo. Then maybe finally try Amphibia. Oh and rewatched Helluva Boss.

I assumed this was a common ranking among a lot of people. You Didn't Know is currently my most replayed, alongside Hell is Forever and Poison.

Vox out here labeling piles of shit as Quadruple-A studio games for $70, checks out.

If you play on PC and don't mind playing offline, there are a few Bending movesets/weapons on Nexus Mods. They are all phenomenal, but the katana + firebending one is 10/10 toppest of tiers.

Based on the upvotes, it would seem that your opinion is now, in fact, a popular one. Congrats, Tarnished! hands you Varre's bouquet

This was my go-to fight club weapon from 1.00 to about a year after release. I tried a lot of different AoWs on it, but ended up falling in love with a Str/Int build using Guardian Swordspear + Loretta's Slash. Crazy roll-catch, crazy strong, ended many duels and 1v2s with those combos. Crazy good weapon (and hella stylish to boot).

Solid content, quick and to the point. GGs

The moment I read "two games like this", I didn't have to read further to know the 2nd one was Destiny. I just knew.

Clearly missing the point that it's how you delivered the information, and not what information.
You can be informative, educational, and respectful, which is no doubt the bare minimum that some parental figure in your life should hopefully have taught you.

It blows my mind how common this misunderstanding of RNG is.

I'm very happy for you! I'm on your journey right now - been banned since around July, I've tried reaching out numerous times to BattleEye, BSG, and the most I've gotten is a canned response with a ToS section explaining how they don't have to tell me why I got banned.
But that's the thing - I did nothing, from what I can tell, to deserve a permaban. I had just gotten to 15, sold a ton of stuff on Flea very rapidly, and had an incredibly below-average stat card lol. If I was cheating, there would have been something to show for it on the account, but other than owning EOD, I had jack shit to my name. Maybe 3 PMC kills, and 8mil in Roubles. Hardly a cheater's hoard.
If you have any recommendations, I'd sure love to hear them. I just wanna play the game again, and enjoy the product I spent $140 on. But that account had barely 1 month of playtime on it before it got permabanned, and I dunno what else to try.
TheCosmophile
Legitimate question: I have a hell of a time 1) identifying PMCs as a Scav and 2) even harder time getting the jump on them.
I know #2 is probably cause I clomp around on Scav like a horse with clown shoes, but unless I spawn with headsets, I feel like there's no way I'm getting the jump on anyone on their PMC.
I'm sure #1 comes with time, but I'd love some tips either way. Got about ~100 hours in the game total, and I love it, I just feel like on Scav I gotta rat or exclusively live in low-traffic areas.
TheCosmophile
Is RatScanner officially safe? I know plenty of people use it without issue, but after getting banned out of the blue for seemingly no reason some months ago, I’ve been racking my brain over what could have gotten me permabanned, and I did use this app when I played.
Goddamn I forgot how much I loved Darklurker. Guessing this is a mod?
