TheDeadlySpaceman

Lived in Boston.

Lived in Louisiana.

Lived in Florida.

Not little touristy visits. Want to guess where it was worse?

TheDeadlySpaceman

I don’t think i have ever gone as quickly from rooting for a couple to knowing they need to end it

TheDeadlySpaceman

Balding isn’t a big deal.

You don’t elaborate on your chud-ness so I can’t comment on it.

TheDeadlySpaceman

I assure you your brother is not lactose

TheDeadlySpaceman

I certainly thought those exact words to myself

TheDeadlySpaceman

The entire model of B&M is to make themselves an unnecessary middleman. That means they lowball you and mark it up when someone comes in to buy it.

Long before any of the recent controversy I found the entire chain pretty disgusting. I was very active in the Lego User Group movement in the early 2000s and seeing a for-profit company exploit ideas like “community” always ticked me off.

Anyway yes, like any used/vintage reseller they lowballed you for their maximum profit. If you had the time and patience selling them yourself on eBay or Bricklink would absolutely put more money in your pocket.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Yeah crucially NONE of these people actually live in Boston as far as I can tell.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Yes, now tell me what the number 828 is a clue to on his patch.

It’s full of references to words and names etc that we know, the context they’re in is mostly irrelevant though.

TheDeadlySpaceman

It’s always fun when the “Boston is racist” shit gets dragged out.

Boston was racist AF and I’ll never deny that. There are (clearly) still racist people here, but like “Taxachusetts” it’s one of those things people say when they have zero actual experience here.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Oh dear lord

Good luck.

TheDeadlySpaceman

None. None clues. It’s all just silly nonsense

TheDeadlySpaceman

My understanding is that it would essentially be a global extinction event. Three days of food at home aren’t gonna help.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Timing is everything. There are lots of people you can be highly compatible with, timing is the thing that makes it stick.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Those “phantom matches” are people who unmatched with you before you got to your feed.

No idea what this is though.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Thor wasn’t the Avengers’ “leader” when Steve was there, either.

Thor has never really been the Avengers’ “leader” in the comics, either.

TheDeadlySpaceman

More like AJ Soprano

TheDeadlySpaceman

Midnight Lady.

TheDeadlySpaceman

His eyes are green in some other shots from the original trailer.

It’s one of the things I’ve been pointing at to quash the whole “he’s a Stark variant” thing. Stark’s eyes aren’t green.

TheDeadlySpaceman

For mine it picked one where I was sweaty and had a weird expression, just because I happened to be on stage at the Grand Ol Opry

TheDeadlySpaceman

I did, it’s what I came here to say

TheDeadlySpaceman

I spent way too long wondering when GI Joe released a dirigible with the number from LOST on it

TheDeadlySpaceman

It’s Bean Cafe by a mile

TheDeadlySpaceman

Most of them are in fact brutal rips for some mistake you made once.

TheDeadlySpaceman

Let’s not forget that Vision claims only Banner or Stark could possibly repair his body when in Age of Ultron the body was built by someone entirely different. Stark and Banner just did the software.

TheDeadlySpaceman

I think there’s a level of confirmation bias. I met someone through Hinge and we’ve now been dating a couple months. I paused my profile and she’s paused hers. As I’m no longer using the app I don’t need advice, also I’m not super inclined to make a post like OP’s announcing any of this to the sub at large.

So I assume the most active users of the sub are people actively seeking advice etc, meaning they’re actively using the app, meaning they either aren’t getting matches/dates or are getting ones that don’t work out.
