In the game i DM they just defeated the Hydra /White Dragon abomination the BBEG had created and then just entered the fortress to attempt to stop the ritual summoning Kezef the Chaos Houd.

In the game im a player in, we beat up a bunch of zombie hands from (written in blood - tales from the radiant citadrl) and leveled up to 3, headed to barovia to meet Strahd

3 mana rocks are generally regarded pretty poorly, 2 mana options like signet and talismans depending on your colors can be helpful. And most often assuming they aren't destroyed, they accrue value each turn over the length of the game

And [[Abigale Eloquent First Year]] which blinks Abigale to get counters on low cost but high downside creatures like [[phrexian soulgorger]] and [rotting regisaur]]

I went back and on FireRed and solos with Blastoise on purpose. Only had HM slaves as other pokemon.

Was a fun playthrough

Commander at Home. Big magic fan and they seem to really capture the fun and laughs of playing with friends

Most my podmates are new, and the combo of lifegain and large creatures is tough for them to deal with. They are still learning how much removal to run, so I tend to take it easy on them, or they all gang up on me, sometimes both.

I have more oppressive decks, but swinging with a 200/200 lifelink seems to stick in their heads, even if they have chump blockers
