Do you have a specific example?

Can't, gas companies contract away your ability to have EV charging. It's nowhere affordable to buy land to put EV chargers on in cities. The sites have to be maintained from damage and theft. We will never have a large charging infrastructure without government intervention and subsidies.

You'd have a very difficult time proving any sort of payment. Unless they were actual W2 employees or there was a contract for work involved - they're considered volunteers. Best solution here is what they're doing - moving platforms. When things get old new reputable people have to step up to do the work.

How to cloud compute - Buy our services and learn our proprietary API's, make sure your companies software heavily relies on it so you can never run your own infrastructure or switch to competitors. Don't even think about bare metal servers or wholesale bandwidth costs.

This is what the courts are made for. Get a lawyer. If AT&T is going to correct it willingly you won't even go to court over it. If they're not going to willingly do so - well, that's what the courts are for.

Tell congress that one. U.S. Industrial military complex has far more political power than the president. You won't be able to stop them from buying politicians whom are the ones that create the military funding bills for this.

The cost of gold was not the actual price of a dollar in the U.S. The federal government would *force* its domestic value, regardless of if it costed more or less to mine or trade for outside the U.S. Precious value was *never* like some free stock market. It was entirely regulated.

The price of gold was never a fixed rate outside of the U.S. The price of gold became whatever superpower controlled mines in Africa or China. "precious value" are artificially inflated in value, this is a well known phenomenon with Diamonds. By keeping the gold standard that would make our currency at the mercy of our cold war enemies.

Gold standard also depended upon a significant lack of global trade. The U.S. only got away with fixing the price of gold domestically. In modern day with instant global trading this would be incredibly unstable and at, again, the mercy of whatever superpower decides what gold is worth.

Facebook and Twitter are far more 'free speech' than people give credit.

For all of those consoles I emulate. the native resolution of PS1,PS2,N64,Gamecube,etc, is really low. When emulating you turn up the internal resolution and it's real sharp. You could make Wind Waker HD before actual Wind Waker HD came out. I played Majoras Mask with custom textures and higher resolution and it could seriously pass as a modern PC release if that ever became a thing. Some people like the CRT nostalgia and it's understandable tho.

I prefer to identify as mold man.

>When you make a very strong assertion about an entire wing of science
and then violently shame anyone who so much as questions it

Twitter doesn't represent people as much as you'd like to think it does.

>commonly held belief in the gender studies community is that any gender identity is valid

Not how that works. People make things up, people may believe it, plenty of transgender people also entirely denounce it. Don't cherry pick.

>“I identify as an apache helicopter” is a valid statement.

This statement continues to exist because edgelords on the internet have little to no understanding on the subject, quote a psych proffessor that does not at all have consensus, and entirely ignore the overwhelming ocean of evidence otherwise. Go talk to actual trans people instead of making wide generalizations based on what you see on twitter.

yeah anything 2D CRT is better. But 3D games look absolutely amazing with proper emulation.

Yes, even shielded. There's a reason contact voltage testers work - plenty of EMF coming off that romex. Very rarely is shielded CAT actually grounded, which means its EMF protection abilitites are a lot less. In short runs at low network speeds it won't matter, but if you're talking long runs (100's feet) and high speeds (10Gb), you will probably fail on actual 10Gb testing on the lines closest to the romex.

I wish. 24/7 news networks have portrayed Israelis as the 'white western' people and the palestinians as the 'dark middle east people'. Islam in the U.S. is viewed very poorly, and people are perfectly fine with violating the basic rights of humans if they say 'allah ackbar'. Can't win while 24/7 news networks exist.

Cyber security *consultants* are a joke. Security doesn't happen from random pentesters that only follow a flowchart. There are very good pentesters whom take very well into account internal systems and spend a lot of time in depth on the whole picture.

Nope. Supply/Demand is only one form of trade, how it actually takes effect is not as direct as we would like to think in many markets. If it were true here then manufacturers would be selling for scalper prices. What will happen is people will sell their CPU's, Motherboard and SSD's for $10-20 off.

TheNameThatShouldNot

No, that's a terrible idea. People already believe that covid isn't real even when hundreds of thousands are dead. They believe that because they weren't affected. The only way people are going to vote for sane health care and vaccination is if they are affected. Let the news be filled with the horrors, make it undeniable. If not this will happen again in 10 years. Now that we all know how terrible the world is at responding to viruses someone is going to try this with a much deadlier virus.

> (c) A dispute regarding a student's sex shall be resolved by the student's school or institution by requesting that the student provide a health examination and consent form or other statement signed by the student's personal health care provider which must verify the student's biological sex. The health care provider may verify the student's biological sex as part of a routine sports physical examination by relying only on one or more of the following: 1. The student's reproductive anatomy; 2. The student's genetic makeup; or 3. The student's normal endogenously produced testosterone levels.

Genital inspections, right there in the law. Hormone level rules results in the 'biological man' being less physically capable than the born women.

Read before being reactionary on the internet.

QAnon is sourced from 8chan which is a hub of pedophiles. People never believe me when I tell them they had boards about raping animals, finding underage people to webcam, how to remain hidden on the net while doing it, etc. Not just text posts mind you, not stories, but people actually posting media files. They prided themselves on 'no administration' where they can be as terrible as they like and 8chan admins never did anything about it. What we're seeing now with Q'ers is those at the top projecting their actual desires onto others.

Joe is full in on the right-wind propaganda. It was obvious from day 1 this was going to happen - look at how little time he spends on actually learning anything. It's all massive generalizations with no domain knowledge, swathing dismissals or agreements of ideas without ever discussion or knowing the details about it.

Real discussions happen with a significant amount of reading words on paper, years of actual experience in that domain, and time to create well thought out arguments. Instead we have yet another reactionary trying to make opinions about complex issues by only drawing from things he's 'heard'.

TheNameThatShouldNot

Joe could have had a great show but he decided to go the route of right-wing conspiracies and treating serious issues as his entertainment instead of any sort of neutral evidence-based discussion. You don't have to research very far to find that there are very few transgender athletes, and those that are, are bound by state competition rules that mandate hormone levels. Any person born male that falls within the testosterone guidelines will *underperform* compared to women. Born women can dope testosterone as much as they like - there's no requirements of testing in HS and some college level competitions.

If your competition doesn't have proper rules that's the fault of the competition. Go copy paste from a state that does.

If you want internet somewhere you can't run a line and it has coax cable - you can use a MoCA set to send ethernet through it. There's 100Mbps units for $20 and 1Gbps units for $150.

TheNameThatShouldNot

Cancel culture and right-wing conspiracies can exist at the same time. People are demonstratably cancelled because of outrage on social networks. People also don't understand that 'cancelling' is not some new things - criticism and boycott are a form of 'cancel'. Stopping people from doing things based on moral outrage has been a tradition of the right for a long time. They're simply obstructing and projecting.

It's sexy, bends without fittings, retains its shape, doesn't break from getting hit, and doesn't break underground from the freeze/thaw/earth movement.
