Oh don't get me wrong, the concept of a sith character had MOUNTAINS of potential... but zero of it was realized. It was so bad, I'm not even sure I would call him a foreshadow... he seemed to only exist in the film to let the audience know that the sith existed and that they were bad Bad BAD! No subtlety, no backstory, no explanation, just "Me bad guy, rar!".
