Which just raises the question for why he didn't use it to land the shot against Yhwach. The reality is just that most of the setup added to this cour (and previous) was setup for anime only additions that were ceremoniously discarded as soon as the plot needs to snap back to the manga plot.

I don't really understand all these anime additions that are all like laying groundwork towards events that never end up happening / getting expanded on. Everything to do with Ichibei/ the SK, Ryuuken/Isshin showing up early, Ishida's schrift and the auschwalen stuff, etc.

I don't really know how you could, as someone in charge of making this show, justify including the scene with Ichigo walking towards his fate of becoming the soul king in episode 46 and then just completely not address this at all in episode 50. You can say that is a flawed choice in episode 46 and I would accept that.

You can walk, run, drive, float, climb, etc. to get to point B, and that is the plurality of the gameplay. So I think its fair to call it a walking sim.

Kinda late to the thread but the game in general is very easy - my friend recently played it for the first time and absolutely crushed every fight with some terrible master allocation / skill builds / etc without basically ever using ascension at all. I would not stress about it at all.

That being said, there are detailed master pathings out there, but you'll have to dig them out of the gamefaqs board as thats where all of them live. Deis is very late into the game so thats why people dont specify level bands - you just are on Bunyan until you get Deis, however long that takes.

So a game about as realistic-to-real-life walking as possible would be a sim game and not a walking sim, in your mind? Or do you agree that trucking sim is a walking sim, emphasis on the sim?

But that is a mouthful so if you just boil it down to the most simple description, its genre is a walking sim.

DS2 is easily one of Kojima's best games. Personally maybe even #2 for me after MGS2, but probably not an opinion shared by many fans.

The plat trophy for DS2 is diabolical though - holy shit the fking changes to maxing out every shelter in the late game.

IDK I feel like this episode is even at odds with Yhwach's power in epi 45, where he's killing people left right and center and the only thing keeping them in the fight is Orihime getting an insane power glowup. Doesn't everyone get absolutely destroyed by his reiatsu's pressure during that fight at some point as well except for Ichigo? I honestly can't remember since its been 2 months.

I enjoyed the movie personally, think it might be one of the best videogame adaptations even (though the bar isnt high tbf). That being said, it shares the same issue as a lot of adaptations where its just shoving too much into one movie. Focus on the tournament, focus on Akuma, focus on Bison, ken vs ryu, etc. But all at once was just too much.
