it chugged 8% of the battery in 7 minutes, i bet its good for warming up the inside of my jacket this winter too
TheThingCreator
Look in the mirror. It’s so fucking annoying to hear people talking about subsidization
TheThingCreator
its just code. its even written exactly how i want it to be written. most code is filler/boilerplate/ui/structural/configs etc, boring stuff. ai is not writing some other magical code that cant be understood. its magical if you have no idea what your doing and you made an app with one prompt.

WebCull, obsidian, and proton

E2EE has never been more important

“Fine” everyone was still bitching all day like they always do. It’s been the end of the world my whole life and I’m sick of it.
TheThingCreator
illusions? you think im just finding out about this.... redditors can be so annoying shit... you dont hear yourself
TheThingCreator
What’s your point. Surviving and thriving are two different things aren’t they. This recent vulnerability is a huge embarrassment and it’s probably going to cost the world billions to the hands of thieves. How can you just be satisfied with one poor ass maintainer to run infra with this many consumers. Donations are clearly a failed model
TheThingCreator
This is why depending on open source projects that have next to zero financially sustainable model is kind of dumb from a security standpoint
TheThingCreator
hell no. just kidding, dm me

Webcull is not free, I made it because I needed a premium bookmark manager, and it became my dream to advance the field
TheThingCreator
Anyone cramming a course, working as a developer, or working as any kind of expert getting hard work done, uses a bookmark manager heavily, I've never seen it any other way. But they are not going to show you that, for myself and everyone else who's deep in work, bookmarks are private. I use WebCull obviously :) I think im also one of the few who actually deeply use ai with my bookmarks but only because i have an agent skill set up for it within my own workflow. I ask for things like folders with all my website videos. A folder with all my blog posts. Organize this folder into 5 categories. Etc.

It's market testing, as long as your tracking the data, you can use those random sudden changes as marketing intel. Businesses who don't believe the market is mature enough to have a settled business model will do this kind of stuff.
TheThingCreator
that's the same if monkeys were the best drivers of excavators, out competing any human
TheThingCreator
yes absolutely, do both
TheThingCreator
or build the tool so that it uses the users agent or active subscription or api key and problem solved. or a mcp tool lets the user use chatgpt/codex/claude/other to do basically anything
TheThingCreator
I already pay for AI, why would I want to pay again for AI in each tool I use. Thats my take.
TheThingCreator
i find two monitors annoying, i just want to depend on my task bar. in the past i've tried hard to like it, but i usually just have montors doing nothing, and i hate having to look around to find where something went
TheThingCreator
What’s with everyone one this sub saying that over and over like a fucking parrot
TheThingCreator
Even this response to that statement is out of touch. "anyone can build it" is a false statement, people saying it are just too delusional to realize how wrong that is. you can make anything huh? lets see it: proceeds to show a shell of a product, that just a part of a part of the thing, and that part hardly works and is full of bugs. the people who say this stuff are doing nothing with ai except trying one prompt, going wow, and then saying a bunch of trash online thats completely out of touch.

I visit his profile 3x per day

it was worse all over, but always worse in problematic areas, st henri has some pretty crazy stories. but worse all over, including the extortion downtown was wild
TheThingCreator
The gang situation in the 70s and 80s was like 100x what it is now
TheThingCreator
It was far worse, it’s helpful to talk to people who remember
nice, can you feel the cpu heating up when its plugged in?
