hey cozy gamers! we're making The Things Left Behind, a completely free little indie game about queer love, friendship, transition, and the weird everyday moments that stick with us.

it's a collection of short interactive stories, each with its own art style and mechanics, made by a team of queer, trans, and disabled artists, designers, and programmers.

some stories are sweet and tender, others get into the messier parts of life. no combat, no scores, no fail states.

we're getting close to 250 Steam wishlists and would love a little help reaching that milestone!

we're working on The Things Left Behind, a free indie game made by a bunch of queer, trans, and disabled artists, designers, programmers, and writers!

it's a collection of short interactive stories about transition, queer love, sensory overload, executive dysfunction, and all the weird little moments that stick with us.

we're also partnering with disability organizations and autism centers to teach game development and create paid opportunities for disabled creators.

We do need some, yes

I love your ideas. We have taken all of the florescent lights out. Small personal desk lamps at every station. A standing desk so height can be adjusted. Fidgets and sensory tools. We mostly use slack to communicate but we do have some talking. Noise cancelling headphones. Couches and cozy chairs for naps if needed. Heating pads at every desk. All kinds of stuff. I hope you enjoy our game. We are trying to launch soon and its our very first game and still has some bugs but its been an act of love to make

We have a mix of game play. Some is more interactive story. Others is short mini games. Nothing that is too complex in terms of puzzles

Right now we're going to be launching the three vignettes.  We are actively developing additional content and levels. We already have one started for post-release that I will also be free. Basically right now we are recruiting artists, storytellers and musicians to help shape the game and tell the stories they want to tell. 

Part of this will be made open source as well so it can evolve and include much more representation
