No it was theatrically released, just not screened to critics beforehand. Was the last one of the original lot to not be DTV though, and at least some of them weren’t even meant to be Hellraiser films anyway, and just the cenobites and general trappings were shoehorned into otherwise unrelated films! I think the final before the new one, Judgement, might have been a rights grab thing though!

There’s a lot of interesting bits in the first two seasons, alongside some much less good stuff, but then hits a great, if sudden, end that they should have kept. The third season is mostly rubbish and the fully absorbed finally in the X-Files, was a good story, but a terrible end for Millennium itself.

I thought branding had to be permanently on either (or both) your packing or item itself? I was pretty certain Amazon says you can’t just slap a sticker on things and call it a day.

The first series is absolutely fantastic. The second series is appalling garbage. As far as I’m concerned there really is only one season of DtB.

I’m very sorry, but your comments (that I can see) describe nothing about Ideal Living and the supposed Human Traffiking they are involved with? Have I missed you detailing that?

The issue I have is that Ben just hasn’t described at all what his video claims - at the moment it’s just been regurgitating what two former employees of Ideal Living have claimed, it’s not presented any evidence of trafficking. I’m afraid just saying that Ideal Living funnels money to JKP, so they’re financing a global human trafficking ring, QED, just doesn’t work for me. Ben hasn’t done anything to show JKP is a human trafficking ring, yes it seems the guys running it were terrible people involved with lots of SA and that’s awful, but what about the trafficking? Those aren’t the same. I don’t know if this is just another case of Ben using hyperbole to get people hooked, but these are terms with specific definitions. Ben’s done a poor job of establishing the actual HT element here as far as I’m concerned.

I am in no way minimising your own personal experience or anything, I’m indeed very sorry if you were involved with the cult for many years and very glad you’re now out of it! Stay safe!

Oh I was just fine with Cloverfield in the cinema on release and at home since! But it has been many years since I’ve watched it. I think you’ve inspired me to a rewatch though! Will be interesting to see if it affects me now, or if there’s simply something about the specific shaky cam in VHS that gets to me!

Another point I have, I’d like there to be more foreign segments again, as I really think those have yielded some of the best entries in the series!

Oh I entirely agree with you, that last one was by far the best, but my head was having a hell of a time whilst enjoying it!

I don’t feel I used to be quite this bad with shaky cam, may be something to do with aging for me, who knows! The feeling quite put me off rewatching the others again ahead of Mixtape! I will undoubtedly dip back into them for my favourite segments again at some point, as whilst there’s a fair bit of rubbish, there’s a host of gems in there too!

It was an increasing thing, but really started to hit with all the running in the Glitch one!

Not the strongest or scariest VHS of the series by far, but far from the worst, and didn’t give me horrendous motion sickness like watching the 1st one did for me the other day!

The stop motion bit was cool, but this was the wrong anthology for it to be in, makes no sense in FF format!

You think that’s crazy on its own - cut it in half and try to understand how each half still shows the entire image, just from new viewpoints.
