OP is really bad with using the english language. He never said specifically that the ENTIRE driver ROTATED after the BOTTOM LIP got STUCK at the top tip of the pole.
Thengine
That's a weird looking harmonica on the front.
Thengine
Thank goodness the ToS protects us! We all know that the briber and bribee would tell reddit of their transgressions straight away!
You're a genius Mr. Troll.
Thengine
they didn't eat it. they got paid. being a mod in some subs comes with serious perks
Thengine
sweet, thanks for pretending to want to rebuild trust. here are some of the things you need to do:
who knew of the astroturfing while it was happening?
spoiler alert: you going to pretend like you had no idea it was going on?
list all astroturf accounts on all social media platforms that ever existed
post the complete conversation you had with the mod team.
Thengine
they hid the astroturf better. mods now don't reveal the entire conversation and get free swag.
Thengine
fool us once, shame on them, fool the mods ?
nope just good ol free swag for the mod team. congrats guys! no puling the wool over your eyes for free. it'll cost them!
Thengine
woox paraphrased:
we acknowledge we got caught and want to take full responsibility. therefore, we have laid the blame at some nameless internal marketing person's feet.
please let us pretend like us owners had zero idea that astroturfing was happening!
p.s. we promise to be good boys from now on and if you mods ever want free swag, we got you
Thengine
why are cops involved? sovcit cops usually love corporations ruining the little guy
Thengine
Cheeto Hitler?
You've been hanging in the wrong echo chambers my friend.
Lots of fun euphemisms in /r/antitrump
Thengine
life is hard, it's even harder when you are stupid
Thengine
I hope all your games are full of trolls that want to waste your time.
you deserve it.
Thengine
Hold on there. Everyone isn't part of the Epstein class. Only buddies of mustard mussolini can bribe the government and profit.
The rest of us plebs will actually be held accountable to the law.
Thengine
or just do it... no one is getting prosecuted unless you do something outrageously dumb.
Thengine
I'd love to have an easy way to blacklist certain users from my feed. Participate in /r/conservative or /r/protectandserve in a serious fashion? No need to see their comments.
That functionality did exist on third party extensions several years ago. Reddit did away with it, because it allowed the user base to segregate the bigots too easily.
BTW, being tolerant of intolerant bigots isn't a good thing. Giving them oxygen can very much be a mistake. Context matters.
Thengine
The entire social media approach simply brings out the worst in people.
It is sad that trying to connect with people online has grown more toxic over time. I feel slightly 'privileged' to have grown up when chat rooms were rudimentary and fundamental things.
It seems like the new paradigm is a slow race to the bottom to get views, in order to get $$$. We are all victims that get to participate with upvotes and downvotes, contributing to the almighty algo.
Thengine
I'll post something insightful (hopefully), and I'll get short concern troll responses from users with names that look like this:
WordWord1234 Wordword567
Bots are definitely becoming a larger presence for sure.
Thengine
I'll typically downvote any version of someone simply saying:
"This!!"
I don't need to read something that could have been provided by an upvote. I appreciate when others do it as well. It saves everyone time when only meaningful discussion is displayed, instead of spam.
Thengine
This is my experience as well. In some of the more public and less niche subs, the demographic is much more low brow. The discourse that gets upvotes is vastly different. The responses are lacking in good faith, and critical thinking.
This has been the trend for a long time. Not saying it's bad per se. Just that pattern discourages engagement for some people.
Thengine
It's also the way that the upvote system pushes discourse.
Popular opinion, coined in a fun SHORT way > well thought out discussion that addresses multiple points in nuanced ways.
Thengine
Still that doesn't excuse people who actively switch off their brains when it comes to topics they have strong feelings about.
Most people aren't trained in critical thinking. Life is hard, it's even harder when you are stupid.
Feelings > Logic for the VAST majority of people. So online discourse in lots of places has been reduced to short quips that target upvotes from the plebs. Not making good faith points.

We're all pattern engines. To save myself time and headache, I've tried to identify things that would be red flags in another commenter before responding.
Names that have issues, like all caps. Sometimes AI bots have names that are Wordword1234. Lot's of ragebaiting comments from AI.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, people that don't use punctuation and proper grammar. Emoticons, lol, lmao, or lots of other slang.
Trying to have good faith discussion in some subs is like the old sayings: wrestling with a pig, or playing chess with a pigeon.
Thengine
Ironic posting the win in this sub. Filled with some right wingers who protect pedos.
Isn't that right mod team?
Thengine
inb4 some autist says 'is all to start a rule 0 conversation'.
Uh oh, did that hit a little too close to home?
I noticed you failed to refute it. How convenient.
