You are entirely correct. Each "chance" of an event is entirely independent of all preceding it and all that will come after it.
If you flip a coin, there's a 50% chance for heads or 50% chance for tails. Do it again, same probabilities. Again, same probabilities.
Fixed typo.

Yes, that was precisely my point. I should have phrased it differently.

100% this. As a 21-year hospice worker, drink what you like. Be it in coffee, beer, wine, whatever.

I'd say Mandarin is "quieter" but not necessarily quiet. At least the times I've been there. Which have mainly been afternoons.

Disney owns the land and buildings and thus Disney Springs is explicitly carved out from the tex free holiday. It's in the Florida Statue.

Part of this is impacted by the fact that everyone's palate is different. What I perceive as "high acidity" may be far different from what someone else perceives.
Other than that, people just aquire tastes for different things.
Anyone ever try Malört?

Anyone who thinks this is "too much" must live really secluded lives.

So, we don't want to aim for a 3:30 drawdown, right?

Bandit Coffee if you're visiting St. Pete. Too far to go just for them but if you're in the area it is definitely good coffee. They do their own roasting and are, by far, the best in the area IMO.
Replay Museum on Tarpon Ave. Museum is kind of a misnomer. It's an arcade. Pay for entrance and play as much as you like. They have specials on Sundays I think. Tons of retro cabinets and pin ball.
Breweries are a dime a dozen in Tampa Bay now. Depends on how far you want to go and what style of beer you're looking for. Arkane (Largo) for sours. Angry Chair (Seminole Heights, Tampa) for obnoxious adjunct stouts. Magnanimous (Tampa Heights and Seminole Heights, Tampa) for hop-forward. Dunedin also has a half-dozen breweries within a ten minute walk of each other.
Sponge Docks are likely on your list. Total tourist situation but fun history none-the-less.
Lenny's is a New York style deli in Clearwater. Great for breakfast. Food is simple, not pretentious and what you would expect for a NYC type deli. They have a gentleman that does amazing balloon animals on Sundays, and maybe other days, that would be sheer delight for most 4 year olds. He comes up with amazing creations. They're free but he always welcomed tips.

Usually in Chicago 6-8 times a year. Here's my take.
The Brewed - If you're a horror fan, this is an awesome spot. But, at least for me, the coffee isn't good.
Metric - Cannot go wrong. Dri, espresso, pourover. All great. Their original location has very limited seating and no apparent restroom. Haven't been to their new location but looks awesome and plan to visit the next time I'm in the city.
***The Avondale Coffee Club - Hands down best pourover in the city. Their selection is top notch and always varies with 6+ beans available. $12 -$22+ for a pourover but I'd place them in line with top pourover places in New York, Etc. I have had mixed results with staff being a bit standoffish. Fills up fast.
Wormhole Coffee - They do some great espresso based drinks. Have been in times where they do pourovers and times when they don't. I'd stick with espresso here.
Intelligencia pourovers - No.
Hex Coffee makes an outstanding drip. I don't believe they do pourovers.

I was a long time fan of Crew's Cup but the Ale and Compass Lounge, around the corner, beats it in all ways now.
The Crew's Cup is really a waiting area for the Yachtsman now. The Ale and Compass has a much more lounge-like feel, it is larger, has a bigger selection of drinks (3 drafts at Crews Cup, at least ten at Ale and Compass) and just a better vibe.
