I love KOTOR and KOTOR 2 but I just can’t get into TOR and it’s because of the combat. It feels to me like managing an Excel spreadsheet without knowing what the formulas do.

Back in the days when 810 was the maximum CP, I think I had barely hit 300CP when a group ran up to me in Craglorn and started rp talking to me. They invited me to their group and were all like “Citizen! We require your assistance!”. Then before I knew it the loading screen for vSCP popped up and they dragged me through a hard mode, speed run and gave me all the gear at the end. Then they asked if I needed anything else. I said I had been wondering about Depths of Malatar and they dragged me through that. All the time doing the “citizen helping out” rp-ing. This was years ago but I still remember it.

You can play it now. I don’t remember seeing any recurring characters from Necrom or later.

Honestly, I think it’s a better experience if you do the OG thieves guild quest line first. Plus that one really is (in my opinion) some of best ESO has to offer in terms of story.

I was pretty excited about it beforehand but now it’s live I’ve realized it’s just… different ways to play existing content. Don’t get me wrong, the class masteries, WW rework, overland difficulty are all nice options to play around with. But after checking them out for a bit I logged off again because there’s nothing new to do WITH those reworks.

Getting Grand Master Crafter before account wide achievements, getting emperor in a Vengeance campaign without really aiming for it and getting the “kill someone who is using Volendrung” achievement years ago on my pvp tank and the killing blow was with Puncture.

I’m not disabled but I think nerfing empower is a very bad idea because it may indeed keep certain people out of harder content and it’s already hard enough to find groups.

I think it’s fair that a 1 bar HA build does less damage than a 2 bar build with higher apm but the difference should not be so big that it makes it impossible for someone using a HA build to complete harder content. HA builds are not overpowered at all currently, especially not compared to what people can do with 2 bar builds.

I wonder how many people who are complaining that their achievements are worthless if others can get them too were playing when parsing more than 100k was considered god tier dps. Powercreep has been going on for years. For example, if you got your vSS clear on an arcanist that means you’ve enjoyed the fruits of power creep. Congratulations.

The real flex is having achieved grand master crafter before account wide achievements ;)

ZOS will keep jacking up prices as long as people keep paying. When the mammoth was released there was even a thread on the forums thanking ZOS for giving people something to buy. I can only hope that a PepsiCo/Doritos point will be reached where people vote with their wallet and ZOS is forced to lower their prices.

I’ve seen them drop from safeboxes and pickpocketing but I have heard that they can also drop from looting owned wardrobes and such.

They are very rare and only drop from thieving loot tables. Congrats!

Are we talking about Molag Bal in the main quest line or Molag Bal in the Imperial Sewers? 🤔

First of all, all content in the game can be done with an 88k parse. So if you’re not hitting 115k, don’t worry too much about it unless your goal is to hit a certain number because you like parsing.

Second, parsing is very much about timing and getting a rotation down to a very specific rhythm. That may take a while. People who post builds like that spend a lot of time perfecting their rotation.

If you want to pug (DLC) dungeons, wait for them to be a pledge and you’ll have a better chance of finding a group.

This was called out on the PTS by many people and ZOS said they don’t have the technical skills to change it, soooo… we basically get half-finished personalities.

All this + the voice previews don’t include the sounds your character will make the most, like groaning when they’re hit or fall off a cliff.

What you can do is mark your map where you’re standing in the house and then zoom out to the Tamriel map. Based on that you should be able to determine roughly where that building is.

For example, when I did that in the Haven of the Five Companions I did it to figure out that the tower you see from there is the tower of Hackdirt.

Was it an ai response or did you manage to get through to an actual person? I’d get it if you bought those DLCs years ago (like I did) but two days before the announcement is wild. Keep replying until you get an actual person.

I think the new 2H animations are some of the ugliest and most cartoonish ever introduced to the game. More like He-Man Scrolls Online. There’s a lot I like about U49 but this… this ain’t it for me. I guess this appeals to people who like the way games like WOW an FFXIV look? I prefer Elder Scrolls games to look like Elder Scrolls games. But then I guess that already went overboard with Arcanist and cartoonish flashy radiant apex mounts.

Are you sure the new daily quest rewards will have the same item id as the existing ones? Reason I ask is that whenever new sets are added to rewards of the worthy, they only drop from containers that you got after the update. Existing ones don’t have their loot table updated.
