I would not assume it got coated based on that. You need a polyurethane coat over the top of the wood to protect it. Try dropping some water on it to see if it immediately soaks through. Even so, if it seems to scratch easily your solution may be to recoat it thicker.

If there's carpet, replace it. Wallpaper, remove it and paint.
Final option, rent an ozone device and run it.

It's clearly sarcasm / ironic, there is even a final "Greetings, B-52's" with the character dead / presumably bombed to death.

Go somewhere that takes them in bulk. One at time is too tedious, the can center near us is a pain in the ass too, so we use this which is available at some stores.

That's how basically everything is. Labor cost is just a made up, whatever they want it to be number to inflate the cost. Either in amount of hours or per hour rate. You can get everything to install a 14kw system for around 15k. Try looking up HVAC equipment for example, and what you as a homeowner would pay just to buy the parts: These guys charge whatever they want for labor, not based on the cost to pay their guys, but also get a discount for buying in volume. If you can buy everything for 15k, they can get it for less but charge you more.

Sounds like a "warm water port" giveaway but for Indians.

The "execution" was good.

Unless you live in their country, my experience with European companies in America is the "generous" benefits don't make it past the border. I've worked for multiple companies with HQ's in Europe, most notably we had a guy come over from Germany who had months of vacation due to his tenure + legal requirements. Shocked our HR when he used that to go on vacation in the US.

Facing into Manchester from East Hartford typically, lol.

I meant the one about small outfits, having had almost every HVAC person I could contact come by the lowest quotes have been the biggest guys. But that too, brand opinions seem extremely mixed -- basically seems like someone got burned once and turned them off whatever it was.

Folks repeat this a lot, but I haven't found it to be the case.

It's important to know that hunting / killing just a few of them actually makes the problem worse -- they breed faster when you take one out of the population.
Trapping has to be done extremely carefully: they are smart and will only get caught once. You have to catch and kill the entire group, if one gets out the knowledge will spread.
Mass poison / sterilization is not really an option as you will be poisoning anything that eats the bait. Like nuking yourself to kill the boars.
I'm not sure there is a main supported method for controlling them. The Judas Pig is interesting though.

Right. Unless you are using radio or an entirely segregated medium like a dedicated fiber network, it's going to the internet at some point.
For example, water utilities have a bunch of remote sites that they monitor at a central location like a water treatment plant. A lot are on radio, but just as many go through internet. Similarly, the equipment may have cell modems for remote access or alarming.
"Just don't put it on the internet" doesn't fly in the majority of new build water facilities. They want it on the network to view it remotely.
Tomur
Remote monitoring. Any industry where there's multiple sites feeding into a SCADA is on the internet in some fashion.

If it plugs in, get a smart plug and put the plug on a timer.

Fuel oil or propane tank. Area code is CT, many homes have oil boilers.

Bogos binted?
It's year round too cold for honey where I am, for this reason. I haven't had honey in years.
