Only two characters have a third costume option - Lu Bu, and Sun Shang Xiang.

To unlock Lu Bu's, you need to beat the Dong Zhuo version of Chi Bi on Chaos difficulty in Free Mode. You know if you can get it if you see Lu Bu wearing the costume in the stage preview.

To unlock SSX's third, unlock every character and raise their Merit to 99,999.

Yeah, it was a pain. Ice Palace was the worst, since it takes a good few minutes to get to the boss room after each attempt. Thieves Town is probably the easiest, since once you bring Blind to the boss room he stays there if you die and continue (and you only have to hit him 9 times regardless of how strong your sword is).

Final Fantasy X - the Besaid Aurochs all start off pretty mediocre in the Blitzball minigame. However, Wakka can learn the Aurochs Spirit Tech, which is a Shoot ability that combines the Shoot score of all the original Aurochs on the team.

As an added funny bonus, Keepa, the team goalkeeper gets 99 Shoot on reaching max level

Stargate Universe - the entire crew ended up having to go into statis at the end of Season 2

I think I got pretty lucky with that, since I went in with nearly full magic to spam Fire Rod shots.

DW4, can be a great speedrun option with his mounted attacks

Not tied to Musou modes, no. You do have to unlock every character though, and most of those come from completing Musou modes, or performing actions within stages. A minimum of 11 Musou modes are needed to unlock everyone, there's a couple of approches you can take for the completion order.

I assume this relates to the cost of upgrading pets you are using by spending other pets. A Common pet gives 9 points towards upgrading (max level skill adds 9.9) for example, so it probably isn't worth investing in this, only as a prerequisite for techs further down the tech tree.

The only thing you need for Shang Xiang's third costume is to raise every character's merit to 99,999. Everything else doesn't matter.

Soul Reaver 2 - since the game immediately follows on from the first game, Raziel kept most of his abilities from the first game, such as swimming and climbing. His ability to summon the Wraith Reaver gets improved early on too.

If the evolved forms have different names, it is considered a split evolution (Gloom > Vileplume/Bellossom, Slowpoke > Slowbro/Slowking).

If they are two different forms of the same species, then it isn't considered a split evolution (Toxel > Amped/Low Key Toxtricity, Kubfu > Rapid Strike/Single Strike Urshifu).

I got into speedrunning, which really helped me improve my gaming skills. Before that, I was never that good despite how much I enjoy playing. Might be an option for some to try, give it a go!

Look for the Equip Effect mods, some pets can have up to 4, so it is worth changing out for those that have at least 3. Obviously take the rarity into account, as rarer pets cost more to level up.

What makes this even worse than LG is that individual sounds were able to be identified and catalogued, such as baby cries or dog barks. Just shows the level of effort gone into spying into everyone's lives
