You and I are twins, girl. I noped out after ACOMAF but went through all the wikis and know all the spoilers. I really want to read SF for Nesta, but I'm having the worst time forcing myself to pick up ACOWAR knowing how insufferable it will be to read Feyre trying to girlboss the destruction of the Spring Court.

I figured that SJM would try to pivot after SF and make the IC more likable, so I am a bit baffled (and amused) that she's made them so much worse. I'm only here for Nesta, Eris and Lucien info.

It really makes me wonder if SJM is that oblivious or...is she intentionally trying to make every single character absolutely unlikable??? I am so confused as to what she is trying to do.

As a dedicated Staticmoth simp, I took his particular hatred of Angel as evidence of his love/repressed feelings for Valentino. There is no other reason for Vox to be so viciously angry at Angel. So in that sense, I loved this scene.

Thanks for the info!

Beyond the cover & edges, is there anything in the book itself to justify the price? Like artwork, etc? I was shocked at how expensive it is.

As someone who pretty much only plays Durge, Astarion works so well on both a redemption/Spawn and a pure evil/Ascended route.

Triss irritated tf out of me during this quest. Getting tipsy on a mission just to "fall" into Geralt's arms? Only to be immediately sober when I tell her no? Mmhmm.

I know he's not for everyone, but playing an Independent Amala paired with Amrit & CONSTANTLY giving him shit the entire time is literally the most fun I've had in a romance.

Veilguard's biggest problem was dropping carry-over choices from the previous games (including our Wardens & Hawkes), and the horrible companion rework where you literally cannot talk to them outside of very limited and structured cutscenes.

But if Veilguard was a new IP from a different studio, without the expectations, it would definitely have been received better by the general player-base. The game looks gorgeous, the character creator is the best I've ever seen, and the gameplay is fun.

As a huge DA fan, I had a lot of fun with it - but it's still my least favorite game in the series because it should have (and could have) been so, so, so much better. I have actively avoided watching any long form video content about anyone else's opinions about the game, because I don't want to piss myself off haha.

Because the heights have become a competition & the MMC of any particular book must have at least an inch or two over every other man, it's crazy and inconsistent. We need an actual height chart.

TootlesFTW

If you zooooom in you can see a faint vertical line at the left-side corner of his mouth. Doesn't exactly look like what was described in the book.

Kent always insists on having very tall MMCs to the point where it's getting a bit ridiculous. 😅 I would have happily accepted a 5'10 Jethro.

TootlesFTW

I like the 2nd book's couple but it's a lot of sex (which usually isn't an issue haha), and it's bordering on a miscommunication trope at this point. 😅 I just want them to talk about their feelings already.

I actually looove a good angsty cliffhanger, I just wish it led to ABH2 instead of HS3. 🫩

I loved 1984's Richard Ramirez! I just wish he wasn't the actual fucking Richard Ramirez. Ryan Murphy needs to stick to fictional characters.

They also slipped waaaay too quickly into bed with each other. I hate when stories rush the enemies to lovers aspect.

I'm reading the second book (Clean Finish) right now! Don't know if I plan on continuing the series, but it's very cute. Which characters are these? Is that B. Were??

TootlesFTW

Garron Park is on a lot of Top 10 lists, and I thought it was mid at best.

Absolutely devastating. Bioware made my favorite RPGs, and nothing really came close (for me) to Bioware in their prime. I need to know where the writers are going after this.

If my crackship Azris doesn't happen, I would happily accept Neris as a consolation prize.

For as off the handle as Val can be, he is pretty mature about the shit going on between Vox & Alastor. He doesn't project his anger onto Alastor (which would have been the easy route, since he loves Vox) - he correctly holds Vox accountable for his actions.

Also, Alastor and Val seem to get along/hold respect for each other. Viv said so herself, and I feel it's apparent enough in the show. Val does not respect Angel or the other demons/Sinners he randomly threatens or harms.

I just did my first male V playthrough and liked him a lot, I was surprised. As a girl, I typically play as a female when given the choice...but I actually prefer being a male when it comes to the dynamics with Johnny. If I were to play again, I'd choose Vincent.

The way Azriel thinks about, treats, and acts around women he has a romantic interest in really has me thinking the Azriel/Eris ship is the best option for everyone involved. This man cannot handle women.

From a narrative perspective, I could not understand how so many people seemed to think that the show was going to go with an abortion storyline. What would be the actual point - that's not a plotline, that's a few minutes of screentime. A baby actually offers up something interesting that we haven't seen yet.

She's a sociopath, and I'm interested to see how deep her little suicide/death plot goes. I don't like her at all, but she's a good character that is keeping the story moving.
