It’s absolutely correct. Our leaders and representatives mingle with us, attend our events and footy clubs. I’ve seen my local MP chatting on the train, I’ve run into them at the supermarket, I’ve seen them at the pub. People here have fantastic access to their reps and it’s a wonderful part of our democracy.

This attack is an attack not just on the woman who will suffer the most for it but on all of us
