Now, to set expectations, things aren’t going to magically improve, because you will still have a moron as President. But this STOPS or SLOWS him from making even more of a huge mess!

Americans just don’t agree with him. He’ll find out on Nov. 3rd. 🤷‍♀️

Being completely candid, because I’ve seen this several times: If they’re not listening to you and giving you an impossible task, that’s your clue to get your network list together and your resume prepared.

I would agree that you should ask for at least $130K.

I think the new job sounds more interesting - esp since you feel burned out at the other one.
Also, sometimes the job is presented as so many days in office, but once you’re there, you may find out that people don’t really follow that…..

I’m so glad he’s using his time for these important major issues. He could be wasting time fixing the economy he broke or ending the war he unilaterally started. But he knows how to prioritize the impactful things.

And MAGAs will believe them. 🤦‍♀️

The extreme right crowd is more fired up than usual to vote this year, because people keep telling them there’s a blue wave coming. We can’t get complacent. Every single blue voter better vote.
If Trump is not muzzled after midterms, the country is over.

Let’s make sure he has losses to accept first. Several polls are warning us that this is not “in the bag.” So many people are frustrated with Democrats too. Job #1 is to get out and vote straight blue, so we can start healing.

I can’t wait for that to happen! Trump will probably resign before then though.

Real Republicans have woken up. They realize what a complete mess Trump is.
However, MAGA is still clinging to the hope that we will become an all white nation, and that’s what keeps them going - and why Trump can do anything he wants and they’ll stay faithful.

Don’t F it up Democrats! Get out and vote. This isn’t the year to get lazy or assume it’s in the bag.

Trump looks way too confident. Just like he did in 2024. Democrats need to achieve margins higher than the corruption he’s planning. Please don’t sit this one out - even if your candidate isn’t perfect. We CANNOT afford to NOT have Trump muzzled. He’s made enough of a mess.

I would stay and look for a new job. 16 weeks severance is not that long - especially for this job market.

Is that $11k a year? Maybe find another side hustle (baking, tutoring, etc) to fill that gap, for now?

It’s normal. It’s goes back and forth throughout his childhood, in most cases. So it’ll likely swing the other way. My kids didn’t like to cuddle either at that age. They’re too busy exploring their new world. But became super cuddly again at about 4-5.
Wait until he’s 16 and doesn’t want either of you unless he needs money or something is wrong. 🙄😂. Haha!

This key thing to realize is that this is not about you. If you let yourself get worked up about it, you’ll just push him away. My mom did that to me, whenever I was close with my dad, and it just made me more and more frustrated and her.
Kids need both parents.

It’s hard for people to admit they were wrong. So, a lot of MAGAs and other uninformed Republicans will come out to vote for their Republican candidate, purely out of pride. They know it’s wrong for the country, but it makes them feel good.

Wanting your kids to be home with you doesn’t mean you’re a SAHM. I want the same thing every day when I drop my kids off, and feel that pang for a few seconds before I drive off to work.(or in my case in the last 3 weeks ….as I drive off to look for a new job).

Procurement’s biggest problem (the one I hear the most feedback about from Execs) is that they don’t communicate properly.
We operate in our own little silo and still expect people to respect our work.
(Most of us - not all).

I hate MAGA more than 90% of people reading this, but come on! Let’s not be mean. She was nervous. There are dozens of cameras and lights in her, and she has to defend a crazy lunatic. It was her first time. Give her some grace.

The ICE debacle, where a 5 year old child was almost shot, should alarm everyone!! If this cruel administration is not controlled (2026 is our absolute last chance), this is only the beginning. Today, it’s illegal immigrants, tomorrow it will be all people of color, then all people who oppose this administration……
Please vote, get your friends to vote, join call groups, etc.! Your candidate may not be perfect. But the alternative is MUCH MUCH worse!!

You’re not wrong. Democrat leaders have not done enough to protect Americans from this mess. However, at this point, we just need to stop the bleeding. Democrats need to fix themselves before 2028 though, or that Presidential could easily go to Vance.

Republicans tend to be better about voting in midterms than Democrats. Don’t let that be the case this year, please! 🙏
