There was some kind of altercation last year before a game, so in response they have decided to close the building to the public on game days. I don't know all of the details but I had a hard time getting access myself as an LHB alum. It seems to be intentional and permanent.
Trelfer
Dude, thank you so much! I really appreciate you jumping in. Again, what a crazy coincidence and the egg on my face of explaining your own chart pack to you is what I get for only reading the TL;DR.
You should consider uploading these to Chorus as that is the platform most people use to share and download charts. It's a lot like Score Hero was back then. If memory serves me right, you apply on the Clone Hero Discord by submitting a couple of charts for review and then they grant you the ability to upload your charts to the site officially. That way they don't live or die by this MediaFire link in case you decide you don't want to host that download anymore. I was going to do this to preserve them before I ran into this post!
Even if you never intended for it to be redistributed, I had many fun hours playing these charts back in the day and it was a very tasteful compilation. It made it easy for those of us that found modding GH3 a bit intimidating. I particularly love the chart for Super Mario Bros 2.
Thanks again!

EDIT: I just read your full post (sorry I didn't before) and realized the song list I am converting is likely your list lol. What a coincidence. I don't want to steal your thunder - was just trying to get these charts preserved for future players to enjoy!
Hey dude, thank for this. I had a really old GH3 install kicking around with 300 custom songs from some pack I downloaded more than a decade ago. A lot of these charts never made it to Clone Hero, and I plan to get them on Chorus for others to download. I had been trying to figure out what combination of Honeycomb, Onyx, and GH3toCH would get me there, and your scripts made it infinitely easier so major kudos. Of these 300, 11 of them failed at the WAV conversion step with the following output:

Could you give me an idea as to what's going on here and what path I may have to fix it?
Trelfer
Shill? I'm actively advocating for you to not use their products full-stop! I'm all for shitting on Microsoft, just have a well-structured and accurate argument next time.
Trelfer
You're not reading your own comments and are now reframing. Your comment was about Recall and you insinuated something untrue; that it should be cause of concern for the average consumer. I'm not disagreeing with you that telemetry is bad, but I am going to call you out on making misleading statements. Again, if you are really concerned about telemetry in principle, you shouldn't be using a Microsoft operating system. Windows 10 does not insulate you from telemetry even if the surface area is smaller.
Trelfer
That's just blatantly not true. Recall is opt-in and has strict requirements to even enable it, namely demanding a Copilot+ branded computer with Windows Hello properly configured. That alone excludes a significant percentage of the Windows 11 install base from having the feature available in the first place. There are plenty of documented privacy concerns with how Recall works and what it sends, but not that it triggers without explicit and intentional enablement. Suggesting otherwise to confirm your own biases is fear mongering. If you're talking about telemetry broadly, then yes - but I never refuted that. There is always going to be some telemetry in an unmodified Windows installation, and that is true of Windows 10 as well. If telemetry is truly your driving concern in staying on a deprecated operating system, switch to Linux.
Trelfer
Windows 11 isn't perfect, but fear mongering with a strictly opt-in feature is problematic. There are plenty of other legitimate base-line telemetry concerns to raise but many of those exist in Windows 10 as well. Not saying there isn't more telemetry in 11 - just that this concern is a bit overstated. A lot can be suppressed with a local login and disabling telemetry features in Settings in combination with a few registry tweaks. I agree this shouldn't be required in a quality operating system - but I'm a big believer in "quit your bitching or switch to Linux". I prefer Windows for now so I adapted to 11. I'd recommend anyone still running 10 do the same.
Trelfer
Yep, I'm seeing it too. I referenced this thread in my FCC complaint as evidence this is not an individual issue. The AT&T rep I spoke to insisted this issue has been brought to the correct team so here's to hoping they actually fix it. GFiber is installing one street over, so if they don't get this figured out soon I'm gone. Likely gone regardless.

Look into Sliger.

Rumor has it that it's happening. They painted the concrete bollards/balls out front Micro Center blue the other month. Slated for a Q4 grand opening. Take it with a grain of salt but looks to be legit.

That would be Swag Surfin by F.L.Y.

I believe you have to be on the same network to Chromecast. By toggling your VPN tunnel on, you are placing your device on a different network and the Chromecast will no longer show up as a casting destination. You would need to set up a reverse proxy or port forward for Jellyfin to be fully accessible outside your source network.

So we have groundhogs to tell us if we have 6 more weeks of winter, and now we have gophers that tell us if we have 6 more weeks of Nebraska sucking.
Trelfer
That compactness comes at a cost. Lightning's potential for power delivery and data bandwidth is complete dogshit when compared to USB-C. It is my understanding that the male component of the USB-C connector is due to the larger pin count that USB-C has which (with a quality cable) allows for transmission of a greater variety of data types. Granted that's not really important when being used as a charge/sync cable on a phone but it's also the reason the connector has become a standard. iPhones will benefit from this change if Apple doesn't fuck it up. I imagine the iPhone will be capable of higher charging speeds on USB-C.
Trelfer
Did you end up getting a Corsair Commander working with unRaid? I am in the same predicament.
Trelfer
Just as an FYI - that's actually not true. Not saying you're off base for not wanting to speed. That's a personal choice - but the speed limit is actually posted separately for the MoPac express lane. You're correct in that it's ~70 mph though. It's also pretty unheard of for a cop to pull over someone for speeding in that express lane unless they were driving recklessly in a way other than their speed. I think that most people take issue with not speeding in the express lane because if you wanted to drive 70 you could have just stayed in the non-tolled lanes (unless it is rush hour). Most people see the express lane as paying for the right to speed. Not saying that's right or wrong - just providing some perspectives.

I updated the post to include more competitive pricing and an option to buy without the heatsinks. Thank you for your advice.
Trelfer
Yeah, the heatsinks are around $50 for two so I spent more than $100 on the heatsinks alone. Was hoping to recoup as much of that as I could but your point is fair on top of that the heatsinks aren't necessary in most configurations anyways. What do you think would be fair with the heatsinks factored in? $250? Or do you think I just need to eat the cost and go lower?
Trelfer
I think that's going to be my best option, thank you!
Trelfer
Thanks for the write up, I think I will go with the A2000 based on this. I checked out the Lenovo store and they seem to have the best price new for one of these but it says Coming Soon. I'm assuming they are restocking and I just need to check back frequently?
