That’s a very good deal, go have a look at how much the FireWire 30 pin cables and the charging brick go for (and you don’t even need it as the 4th gen can sync and charge over USB as well)

I had this in my iPod mini and ended up needing a new hard drive ribbon cable.

Because most of those really need new batteries and aren’t the easiest to work on compared to the iPod classic. That said, $50 should absolutely get you a decent shuffle, they’re like $10-15 in shopgoodwill if you’re patient enough i got one and still holds a charge miraculously

I had a 4th gen when it came out and it was such a massive improvement over the previous versions. They’re still easy to find second hand as they sold really well back in the day and they run iOS 6 as the last supported version whereas with later generations people just focus on all the different ways to run iOS 6 anyways as it’s smoother and most tweaks and developments are meant for iOS 6.
I’d get one with good battery life and as much capacity as you can find. Avoid 8 GB models it’s just not enough for apps and music. Also I’d throw a nice case as well. These aren’t easy to fix if the screen breaks.

Good thing you posted in iPhoneBatteryParanoia 😅 Apple guarantees batteries to keep 80% of their original capacity after a 1000 cycles, which is roughly 3 years of intensive use? You’re over 1/3 of the way and well on track for that metric. Don’t stress about it, enjoy your phone and replace the battery when it no longer suit your needs.
TroubledGeorge
It has a little bit of additional actual capacity compared to the battery spec sheet

This comment from an old thread has the details on the bands it supports. https://www.reddit.com/r/dumbphones/s/gqtdyD3hta
Check with your carrier which bands they use, it should work as long the phone is unlocked the phone supports the bands your carrier uses. Also check with your carrier if they don’t enforce a whitelist for phones.

Es un teléfono increíble para alguien que solo necesita un teléfono. Batería para todo el día y me sobra, no es excesivamente grande, la cámara toma buenas fotos y para las tareas comunes es rápido.

Connect to iTunes and restore. If it doesn’t work you can enter DFU mode and then restore.

This is a wake up call for me and probably for others. I should write some documentation for my partner should something happen to me.

Heck I am from South America and even with all its faults our system is miles ahead. I get a percentage of my wages deducted for public health and I get all my supplies covered with zero copay and I get to see my endo every 3 months. People here see the US as a dream and as an example on things done right and our culture is basically imitating and worshipping anything that comes from the US. I work for a US based company yet I would never even consider moving there as a T1D, I read these stories in this sub far too often, it’s just sad. And even when I had no coverage, what I paid out of pocket is a fraction of the prices of insulin and supplies in the US. It’s just diabolical.

For reference this is what the service reminder looks like as I just got it two days ago in my Insignia. This is something else. Probably needs a specialized scan tool to know what it is.

I also use Juggluco. Great app. Can also easily add already active sensors.

The N95 is surprisingly capable. If you live somewhere that still has 2G service for the 6300, I think the N95 also supports 3G.
TroubledGeorge
No, this is only possible for the older versions because early iPhone and iPod touch models don’t use signing so you can modify the OS and install it normally.

Lovely Rover you have in there. I bet the power and ride quality are massively improved from the Twingo even if it’s nowhere near as quirky and easy to park

I’d just get a used fire stick even if you don’t need a lot, most cheap alternatives have really crappy remotes.

I don’t think having the iPod at 100% battery charge is a good idea specially if it’s locked inside a car where it can get hot. Most iPods specially modded have very good battery life I don’t see how this is a problem, just set your playlist and drive. With the screen off you could be driving for literal days before you need to recharge the battery.
I do think the line out 30 pin cable is a great idea though you get cleaner audio and one volume control as you mentioned.

Leave it plugged in for a while and then see if it powers on? It should still work with no music on it. If I remember correctly it plays a message saying to use iTunes to load music into it.

El certificado del propio Cydia venció, no es algo que debas solucionar tú.

I travel a fair bit for work and never got it to work after the reservation is made so this time I asked beforehand to my travel agent from work if they could add my member # to the booking and they did and it appeared automatically in my IHG app

Depending on the model and if it powers on and you know the password you can send the pictures via Bluetooth to your Mac, otherwise you can move them to an external memory card and access it from the MacBook

En iTunes selecciona todas las canciones del disco y les agregas la imagen, o a veces si algunas ya tienen, quítasela, luego las agregas a todas y vuelves a sincronizar.

iPhones after the 3G require signing validation with Apple so only apples iOS can be installed.
