George Washington dies in the mid 1780s before the constitutional convention begins. With no centralizing figure to rally around the convention happens as in our timeline but with considerably more infighting and regionalism.
Political factions dominate the convention and the resulting constitution is genuinely unworkable. A series of weak, ineffectual presidents attempt to wield executive power in the 1790s but by 1799 the federal government has practically no power as state governments wield the real power and southern slave states refuse to be controlled by New England free states and vice versa
The experiment withers on the vine and each region and state eventually go their separate ways

Both screen and scream unseen had the same problem tonight IMO: Both had a wacky premise but didn’t take it to an extreme that would’ve made it interesting/funny.
Both were content to have the wacky premise and deliver the baseline of what one would expect from the odd premise but not much more than that
Still better than Lucky Strike but this was probably my next least favorite screen unseen this year
