I'm seeing a lot of good comments here. For me personally, and with absolute clarity I would use parenthesis-- F7(#5)

I know I've heard Paul lament that George and John never had a chance to repair their relationship, but I'm confused as to how that falling out occurred. George played on a number of John's solo stuff, and I think there's a Ringo track where the three of them are together. I am aware of the public bitching that took place between Paul and John, and the big disagreements seems to stem from the Alan Klein situation. If anyone could shed light onto the fracturing of John and George's relationship, I'd really appreciate it.

As an international teacher, I have done well to pay off my loans and recieve a masters while abroad.
As for the generalization that female students do better, it's largely to do with the fact that a majority of male students are kinesthetic learners, and the average teacher structures their lessons towards visual or reading/writing learners-- which are predomenantly female. This, in tandem with low executive functions, which don't fully develop for men until their mid twenties, is why so many young boys think they are stupid, or bad at academics.

There are several types of modulations, but an infinite amount of ways to use them.
Spontaneous - unprepared (ie. Wouldn't it Be Nice - Beach Boys, which uses a minor 3rd
"Truck Driver Gear Shift" (ie. To Be With You - Mr. Big)
Some can even shift to the far distant major 3rd, which is known as the Enharmonic Double Chromatic Mediant Modulation. (ie. My Heart Goes On, All By Myself or A Whole New World, within the verse)
Parallel - Am - A, or switching between modes (ie. While My Guitar Gently Weeps, or I Me Mine)
Neighbour Key - C - F or C - G
Downward Modulation - lament, a drop in energy. "Moving the key downwards has the subconscious effect pf making the song slightly whisftul, as if the joy isn't a total joy, but a joy slightly removed from the events in portrays" - Composer Howard Goodall
- "Penny Lane" (B - A) in this example, although the key is shifting downward, the melody is up a semitone.
- "Layla" Dm - C#m
- "You are the sunshine of my life" (C - A)
- "Time ~ Breathe Reprise" (F#m - Em)
Pivot Modulation - using counterpoint, or chromaticism, or even atonal techniques

I heard he was in a movie called Yesterday. But I've never seen it, so who knows?

Dominant refers to the scale degree, a chord based on the 5th of the key. Every dominant chord will thus have the same formula, a major triad plus a minor 7th.

I understand wanting to skip season 8, and season 6. But I would still stick with season 5. It's important imo because it shows him wrestling with this new feeling... "guilt?"

These, plus all the score studies and transcriptions you can put your hands on. IMSLP is a great resource I wish I had when I was growing up.

The Royal Scam is my goto album of theirs to put on. I love and admire the quality of Aja, but there's a certain rawness that The Royal Scam has in contrast with the rest of their work. It feels much more like a jam. Also the range of genres covered shows a broad spectrum of their musical influences.
Rose Darling is a masterpiece, if you play an instrument, go ahead and try playing along with it. It's so fun!

That makes a lot more sense in the context of a solo guitar performance. If that’s the voicing you’re actually playing, then notating it that way is perfectly reasonable—lead sheets are ultimately there to communicate the performer’s intent. I might still leave off the “(no3)” unless it’s likely to cause confusion in rehearsal, since the melody will usually clarify the harmony anyway. It sounds like a really nice framework for improvisation, and I’d be interested to hear how it develops when you revisit it with flute or clarinet.
Let me know if you need a flautist to record some parts for your album.

This is an interesting tune! What instrumentation do you forsee performing it?
I would try to keep a consistent number of bars per line, in this case 4 or 8. In terms of engraving, be careful about the placement of the chord names-- is the Amaj7#11(no3) chord supposed to take place on the measure before, as a form of a rhythmic anticipation?
Regarding that chord: it's a pretty spicy chord, but the melody doesn't seem to imply anything further than a root and a 5th. Perhaps there are other harmonic or melodic choices worth exploring in that section?

The late Beethoven quartets and quintets were quite formative for me. As a woodwind specialist, it always struck me that composers used that ensemble to explore the depths of harmonic possibilities.

Yeah man, if only. Eagles could have truly been megastars.
Serious question: can't we reuse the water?
