I mean to be fair, even in spite of Chaos decks, this card was made long before the Graveyard became a second hand, and GY effects were something actually noteworthy. And Painful Choice is a horribly designed card in the sense that it's effect is too powerful, even in the stone ages of Yugioh.

I think for actually bad card design, there's abyssmal dogshit like Swordsman from A Distant Land and Dark Artist. Just objectively awful cards that were terrible even for when they released, and absolutely unacceptable pack filler for when they released in the TCG in 2014.

Hisuian Avalugg being Rock/Ice is so funny to me, because along with Auroros, that means Rock/Ice is such dogshit that every Pokemon with the typing is extinct.

The shit Ash has pulled off in both the anime and the movies should make it abundantly clear that Ash is just Him. You don't get hit with Thunderbolts, explosions, and various other magic animal attacks for over 20 years and walk away unscathed without being built a little different.

There's that one movie with Manaphy where Ash puts May, Manaphy, and Pikachu in an escape pod as the underwater palace floods, and then proceeds to have inhuman strength by lifting a bunch of shit underwater and holding his breath for what must have been at least like 5-10 minutes.

Fire Emblem as a board game is something I'm sincerely baffled that I haven't thought of before. People pull out the "anime chess" line all the time for Fire Emblem, so you'd think Nintendo would have had the idea of "wait what if we made an actual board game out of this?"

Maps are pretty much already able to be directly translated into a physical game map, and there are so many tactician characters who bring up board games as a way to make military strategies.

Blacksmith's biggest problems are a lack of a Bolt Axe, and far more importantly, a lack of a units who's meant to go into the class in the first place. There isn't really many units who have both a Magic growth and a Strength growth at the same time, aside Orchel, who wants to be a Bishop, and Cai, who really doesn't want to lose Lance access. There also is one unit in the game who has proficiency in both Axes and Black Magic, being Nydine. And along with her proficiency in Riding and Flying pushing her towards Ornius Rider, Nydine's personal skills put her up there with Inyoni, Io, and Benditz in the category of "please make me this specific class." She's practically pleading to be a Caladrius, so Blacksmith is simply not that great for her.

The absolute only unit I can even think of who wants to use Axes and Black Magic is Dadao. He gets Wandering Wall along with Thunder at D Rank, and therefore he has no downsides from his bad Magic growths since he's just making barriers. (Which honestly fits the Blacksmith gimmick far better than it's Class Mastery skill does.)
