Beautiful! And you could just use belts in the middle empty space for up/down or left/right traffic. But it might look better this way!

I turn cliffs off on Nauvis. Too annoying when I want to build and can't remove the obstical. I leave them on for other planets as it gives cliff explosions a reason to exist.
I too find quality not fun in its current implementation. Just seems like it's needlessly difficult, or you just get it for nearly free when you get 300% productivity bonuses on blue circuits. There feels like no middle ground. I've been using the quality condenser mod lately to replace normal quality farming.
I like the bonuses from quality, just the fact that mixed quality clogs things make me never want to use it.

I start setting up my bus after I get my first smelting column set up smelting iron en mass. Then I start bussing the iron plates to the hub I'm making belts on so I have enough belts to build the rest of the bus.
After that, I add copper smelting, get a green chip production going, then my bus is running full time with a hub producing assemblers, power poles, miners, inserters, a d everything else I need. I usually continue with a main bus, using trains only to bring in raw ores, until I've gone to Vulcanis, Gleba, and Fulgora, then I usually refactor into a train base, because I like trains not so much that they are better.

I just wish this "Fester" was bald. And an uncle...

Impactful skills lets skills add modifiers to stuff, completely configurable. By default, Minning adds carrying capacity and melee increases movement speed. Intelect increases learning rate. Crafting affects work speed. Plants increase harvest yield and more.

Started leveling him up,going goatman, just putting one point in every other demon skill as it unlocks. Plus skills is amazing. I crafted a plus 1 demon skills belt and amulet, and bow at level 16, I'm clearing p8 act one easily these demons have tons of health, hit huge aoe, and deal great damage!
Make sure to get the demon teleport spell, otherwise they will never focus on those shamans that resurrect and it'll take longer to clear things.

Welcome to the show, where the show is slaying demons!
Wiki is great to look up items like rune-words. If you ever get chopped/perfect or other quality gems, use the cube to transmute them with your gem bag. In reimagined, they don't have quality gems anymore, only "perfect" level gems.
Try to keep the free respect option open. One character can be played a hundred ways, so it's nice to change things up instead of re-rolling the character. Whatever build you go for, remember to try to focus 80% of your skill points on that skill to maximize out, so you can kill things faster!

Most of the milira mods are CE or have CR patches. Warning, milira are super OP, super fast and have really strong armor and guns.
I'll also second dead mans switch. It's fully CE compatible and fun!
TwiceTested
CE: weapon range rebalance does a great job or realizing this is a game. Weapon ranges don't need to be historically accurate to have fun in a game. Also, handguns are too short of range that there is almost no point to use em in base CE.

Have you ever gotten that deserter raid of one or two pawns in recon gear while you only have that .308 hunting rifle that does nothing to them? And they have a wraith blade?! Is this just me?
TwiceTested
Yeah, it's one of those "it gives too much now I don't want it" feelings. Like turning on God mode. It's a hard balance to get right.
I also didn't like the graphics when assigning points. Why does it need some special floating graphics, just give me a menu and skill tree like VE Psycasts!
Love the concept, so I'm currently using the Impactful Skills mod. Let's your skills give extra bonuses above the norm, like mining give extra caravan capacity, or intellectual giving extra learning speed. Best part is how customizable it is, so I can increases or decrease how much bonus I get! Also doesn't come with crazy menues or endless quests!

Please unmake this! Yes, this needs to be added as its own war crime and only the most vile should ever do something like this!

So, puppeteer is a mindslaver. When you make someone a puppet, they 'copy' your base values and traits and passions, but they keep their race. So you copy the hussar, base guy has 4 melee, hussar had 8 or 12 (can't remember if their gene gives plus 4 or plus 8 to melee). They also get all the other skills and traits you have, so if your character has tought, they puppet has it now too.
When the puppet performs tasks, like punch people, normally that paw would get skill gained, but instead the puppet master gets the gains. The puppet loses all needs except biological, like food, go-juice for hussar, hemogen for sanguaphage, etc. They also get a conciousness debuff to counter the fact these puppets won't spend any time on recreation.
When you get towards the top of the tree and get annihilate, that spell targets a puppet and causes him to explode killing everything around him. It also grants the puppet master lots of pay saying experience, which is nice.
The only "debuff gets stronger" I was talking about is when you 'split' your mind to make more puppets. Ever split costs a bunch of profits, which isn't bad, but you also go into a psychic comma for a day. All your puppets also get effected, so if you only have him, it means your entire base is comatose for several hours to a day, meaning easy pickings if a raid shows up.
TwiceTested
How else did you expect the oasis to penetrate the desert?
TwiceTested
Well, you can split indefinitely, but every time you do, you and all puppets go comatose. This is a great ballancer, as the penalty gets harsher while the benefit gets less. You have more pawns out, while only adding one. Adding a puppet when you only have one doubles your puppets. But adding one when you have 10 only increases your puppets by 10%.
Highly recommend you only split right after a raid, pray you don't have Randy, and have turrets and stuff in place when you do.
Still, puppeteer is amazing! If you RP a pawn with all passions and great memory or fast learner, then give him something bad like old age, missing lung brain damage or something, then you get this great "I am gonna dig myself out of this and become all powerful" story which is great for revenge! I like to pair this with the family origin from vanilla expanded royalty, where the rebels murder your family and you have to rebuild.
RP aside, let me know if you have any questions and I'll help out! The strongest part of puppeter isn't copying your traits, it's that all the puppets funnel you their skill gains which can make for a super pawn that gets to mind switch into the perfect host body at their apex!
TwiceTested
How does burden work? Does it just insta drop the revenant?
TwiceTested
These are always awesome! Thank you for sharing the art and stories!

I also have map preview installed, and I use a button on the top of that preview window, and there are options to select number of floors, up to three up and three down.

Mechanoid upgrades (Steam Workshop::Mechanoid Upgrades https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3365118555) gives you the ability to make upgrade modules for mechs. Want a really tank syther? Give it extra armor and shields and movement speed! Want a super fabricator? Give it a tiera a work chip and production chip, give +55% work speed (additive, they start at 50% work speed, so this makes the work twice as fast) and plus 1 to all quality of items made!
Lots of cool stuff, but it's also balanced as you need lots of tech and build a bay and upgrade bench before you can make anything. Beware, enemies can get upgrades too, so you might fight a rather with a flame thrower!
TwiceTested
I'm imagining the chickens getting the "stuffed" devuff and passing out!
It ultimately depends on what you are optimizing for. If you have billions of steel and furnaces are cheap, then the only cost is power, ingredients (productivity), and updates per second (ups). That last one is the absolute winner. With only one entity 'working', there is less to calculate.
