Yeah, maybe that is the case if you play weddings for a living, I don’t know. I only do music as a hobby and love to play for my friends’ and family’s weddings or other events. The task of performing and the being an honored guest is one and the same for me.

It could also be a cultural thing. In South America live music at a wedding is (usually) not just there to fill space and play Girl from Ipanema. It’s a whole part of the festivity that everyone participates in, people may take turns singing a song, etc.

Along with what others have said, it’s simply not true that “no human has ever come close to solving” these problems. In fact, if it weren’t for how close humans have pushed the boundary until now, then it’s likely the AI would not have found any of these solutions.

I don’t quite like the chess example here. Usually what you want to find is a good move, not a legal move. Finding a legal move is not very hard. On the other hand, evaluating whether a move was good is almost or just as hard as finding it (because this requires evaluating the position previous to the move)
