So - I went all kinds of around lol. I run NixOS, so I scoped it out deciding if I wanted to migrate, moved things around and wrote an overlay - but then opencode bricked and I couldn’t restore it. Spent like a day figuring out what was wrong (upstream fix) they patched the fix in overnight.

OmO broke completely - but then updated to v2 like same day. BUT I wasn’t interested in OmO since they’re moving to a native application (might still take it for a spin). So I looked around, didn’t find anything until you reminded me ab slim, which I tried forever ago and didn’t like and now it’s the perfect fit lol.

But yeah once v2 was working, I just slapped it in and it worked fine. Where OmO is going native, slim actually focused on being opencode v2 compatible

Where I live, the water quality sucks. We filter all our drinking water, even the cats - and things still start turning pink if we don’t wash them often enough.

If you have EVER had mold in your toilets, or anywhere in your water system - if it wasn’t completely eradicated it will come back. We’ve been trying various methods of stopping this exact thing from happening in all of our toilets - even the unused one, it’s really just a matter of getting ALL the mold. I’m not a plumber but I assume mold can persist inside of pipes - and if you can’t get that you’re just gonna be cleaning it all the time.
