What a let down on this.... mission 1 pro has let me down every single step of the way. I regret ditching my hero 13 amd macro lens for this setup. Yes, it does some thing good. But overall. This is such a disappointment.

I agree with everything said here. I am not paid by DJI, or a bot. I have shot woth gopros for years. It does like two really cool things. The rest of hoenI use these cameras is worse off. I regret gettimg the mission 1 pro over my hero 13. I would have been happier keeping my hero 13 and getting the ILS instead.

You have submerged them in water?

TytheJeepguy

Thanks for the answer. Looks like I'll be selling my pro non-ils like I was suspecting. Such a bummer! Good thing is I can find a used hero 13 for cheap now.

TytheJeepguy

Yup. Such a bummer. It was one of the reasons I bought the pro.

TytheJeepguy

Yeah, Not what i was hoping for. Thought they'd put the same effort as what we saw with thr hero 13 macro lens

TytheJeepguy

This. Plus, that hero 13 macro lens took some gnarly falls, dust, water, and rocks to the face.

TytheJeepguy

Okay, okay, but what roof rack is that?! I've been searching everywhere for one like it

TytheJeepguy

I did! I used a set of xj bumper builder brackets and welded them into place

TytheJeepguy

I have had both. I miss my hero 13. Absolutely phenomenal camera for what I used it for

TytheJeepguy

I cannot wait for a legit macro. I might have to try this till then

TytheJeepguy

Great shot! It does do that well!

Don't do it. I had a hero 13 with the macro lens, and it did extremely well for me. I used it for photo and video. Upgraded to this thinking it would be better. The focal issue makes it almost usless.useless. This is straight from the camera. Roughly 6" away from the fish.

Same

A few of them are!

I guess I'd prefer to not run a mic system at all?

TytheJeepguy

Thanks for sharing this! It's been about 9 years out of the industry. Some days I miss it dearly. Other days, you couldn't pay me enough to go back.

TytheJeepguy

Well, I went all on on it! That was my mistake! Now, hate is a strong word. Dissapointment is the correct word. Its does alot of things "ok", a few things "great" and a few things, meh. The Mic system just adds more to carry! For someone like me, who is on the go, outdoors, in rugged terrain. When things are being dropped, rained on, and in the mud. Having a seperate mic setup just doesn't work. I used the mic adapter, and a 360 mis on the hero 13, and that was perfect. We will see what 3rd party products come out I suppose.
