I like to use D rings.

Windows Bob. Look it up.

UBSPort

This is actually a great usage. Thanks!

I refer to mine as 'my old master'. It got me a lot of weird looks on jobs sites.

One guy asked me if I liked to wear my headlamp band tight around my neck when I'm not using it.

And hunt dogs/spiders for their meat.

Note: You have to cook the meat with the Food Processor or you will die of food poisoning.

That looks like a cellular communicatior. Nope, move on.

Some people play with them, but they're usually quite locked down. If you want to try to use individual components to repurpose for another project that's different.

I read your comment and thought 'Jeff Geerling did that', and then I realized it was you lol.

UBSPort

I learned the same thing the same hard way. Lol but now you know.

Sometimes the labels on the duct detectors for normal are different between when they're powered and not powered. So your NO will sometimes be NC.

I work on these duct detectors and 9512 panels every day. 🙂

UBSPort

Same. It was "now son, just run that wire through there and over here" for some years first. I secretly like running wire though. Don't tell anyone

I hope it's just a bad batch. I had a batch of detectors on a Siemens system a couple of years ago and it was an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with - much less than what my poor customer experienced with the jarring false alarms. Thankfully we caught it right after the installation and got everything sorted out.

Best wishes

I liked to think of them as a friendly country black family representation. Is that bad?

I boarded the Borg cube, took it, and won the game with it.

Is there a way to determine if the CO detection element was set into alarm or the photo electric smoke detection element? I don't do Potter programming, but I would think the panel would be configured to receive separate signals from these devices for their respective alarm conditions. The smoke sensitivity is selectable for a range of 1.1 to 3.5%/foot. I would make sure that is set to least sensitive if allowed by your AHJ. The CO sensitivity I don't think is adjustable.

Is there a chance these detectors were damaged by paint exposure or another chemical? Paint can really ruin these devices.

Have any individual detectors that produced multiple false alarms been replaced? I would start there and see what happens, and see if you can get a replacement under warranty.

Was there full photoelectric smoke detector coverage in the affected areas prior to the recent installation? If so, you might be onto something.

Sometimes it's autism

Restart the loop and see if it goes away. If that doesn't work then have a Siemens provider come out.

UL listed shiny metal duct tape

I have never not seen those filters crumble.

I just saw one yesterday like this. Maybe that's why the newer models don't have them?

UBSPort

I agree with you about the velcro. It does look nice though.

UBSPort

The pressure release valve? Mine was leaking and I replaced it with one from a local hardware store in like 10 minutes.

AI production of CGI and then human edits. It's just a new workflow.

UBSPort

AI can accelerate the time it takes and reduce cost.

UBSPort

30 to 40 episodes per season and they don't blow their CGI budget every episode.

I don't need to feel like I'm watching a Marvel movie every couple of episodes. Plot and character development first, visuals third.

UBSPort

I fantasize about battery upgrades that include a cooling system for my 2015.

Pull each t tap and meter them. Edit: Yes, itcan be insane.
