You would probably like to play house rules. You can disable enemies from opening doors, patrolling, and even what enemies spawn. You can turn off respawn and so much more. Add me on quest KPackwhack or discord Desertio
UPtrainman
Anyone feel free to add me. I play on quest and pcvr. I also run house rules for an added twist. KPackwhack on quest or find me on discord Desertio

These were the cards I played with 20+ years ago. If nothing else, thanks for the nostalgia.
UPtrainman
I greatly appreciate all of your responses. This helps tremendously

You're right about the bottom box. That thing is trash. Getting my home rewired and it's a mess to unravel. The energy saver box is horrible too. Causes nothing but problems
UPtrainman
Does anyone know what the box up top is actually
UPtrainman
Ba-Rock Diesel
UPtrainman
Seconded. Not aptasia but just as bad

Let's eliminate some possibilities. It's probably just him getting used to the tank but jic. Have you tested lately and were there any notable results? What other inhabitants are there in the tank? Is he active at night when the nite lights are on? What food are you feeding? And lastly, the home in which he came from, did he have a host? Tia
UPtrainman
Nuts, you're gonna love my nuts. You can finally have an exciting life!
UPtrainman
I'm glad they work for someone. Lol. What type corals are you keeping mostly?
UPtrainman
The hob skimmers never worked good enough for my taste. Is your skimmer an internal one only?
UPtrainman
Sounds good. I only ask because I've had skimmers that were op for what my load was so I only ran it 4 hours a day on a timer and it was perfect. When the load increased due to the eel it was a minor adjustment to 1 extra hour a day.
UPtrainman
If you're not getting enough fractionation, it's probably not the pump but rather the control valve or height of the skimmer.
UPtrainman
I wouldn't suggest it unless you're having some issues. I've used a bunch of different kinds of pumps on my skimmers without issue.
UPtrainman
Not a problem. Not to throw a wrench in the gears, but what is the skimmer rated for? Also, what type of bioload are you looking at?
UPtrainman
I would naturally go with the bigger one. Pump size is same but the volume it can skim at once isn't. If it fits put it in.
UPtrainman
No lie.
UPtrainman
There aren't any inverts at this time as it's just cycling. That's why my suggest is such.
UPtrainman
Brown algae. Very common in new tanks. Most any algaecide will end it
UPtrainman
Salinity.... Really.... Of course you pick that. Either you know exactly what I'm talking about and just want to sound cool or you have dumb luck
UPtrainman
IMHO, when starting a reef tank, the bigger it is the easier it is. Hear me out. With living reef, parameters are crucial. A small dip or rise in the wrong thing can cause havoc. Especially when it's so concentrated. Bigger system, more volume, allows for higher fluctuations without major problems. Tiny reef, small fluctuation, big problem. That being said, I wish you great success.
UPtrainman
Could be a rogue ray of sunlight hit that tank for a while. Lol. Either way, good luck. It's tedious but not difficult to rid yourself of it.
Only for the Achievement. How is it going for you?
