Typically the top of the case is used for exhaust, so no filter is necessary.

Same 😭

Yes, you can use the already linked cabling no problem; you can actually run 5 RGB fans on one channel.

UltimateLoad

The Hue 2 has 2 channels; you can hook up all 4 fans on one channels; while using the other channel for lighting (40 LEDs aka 4 strips max).

They are only $99 over the MSRP of all the components, the have a great selections of said components, it's a good way to get a RTX 30 series card, they are crafted well with excellent cable routing, and so far I have had zero issues with customer support. I've had my system about 3 months, and couldn't be happier.

I've had my Gigabyte Eagle OC 3080 build for a couple of weeks now, and couldn't be happier. I do fall victim to be "kicked to desktop" occasionally when playing COD, but no definitive answer on why it's happening.

Sorry...I'd like to help but I have no experience with OCD ;-)

The 710i comes with 4 (3x120mm, 1x140mmfans) by default, and you liquid cooler typically has a minimum of 2 fans (2x140mm). that will keep most any build cool.

UltimateLoad

The internal lighting kit will come with LED strips that illuminate the inside of your case. You will also get some extra LED strips that you can put on the back of your monitor. if you select any RGB fans on your build, they will install them as well.

If you're sure you have no USB 2.0 headers, than you will need the 3.0 to 2.0 adapter cable. You will need a minimum of 2 2.0 headers (case usb by power switch and the internal RGB/lights controller that comes with the H210i case). I would add the internal USB hub for sure.

+1... I agree with malccy72.

UltimateLoad

That looks different than the 1.1 on the U.S. Gigabyte site. It would be on the bottom side of the board, under the 2nd PCI slot.

UltimateLoad

According to the website, that board has "2 x USB 2.0/1.1 headers".

UltimateLoad

Yes, you will need the RGB and Internal lighting kit, unless you use an NZXT i case(710i, 510i, etc)

I made and order on the 3rd, which included the EVGA 3080. Decided to cancel and upgrade my order on the 4th. By then the EVGA was gone, and the Gigabyte was the 3070 of choice. Ordered on the 4th, and was delivered on the 8th. Unless you got an order confirmation, I believe you missed the window on the 3080. They go fast...

UltimateLoad

Thanks...yes it is. The newer cards are "thicc" and therefore tend to sag. That's my MacGyver move while I research a permanent fix.

UltimateLoad

Yeah, I'm getting around 150 FPS at 3440x1440 myself, with the same GPU. I put one of the SSD cages under the edge, because it droops a bit from the weight. I will find something more permanent soon. I'm rocking the same case, just in black and white, and I'll post some setup photos soon. Enjoy...

The underglow strips will work with the accompanying smart device.

They are not the same. The smart device does all the things the RGB/fan controller does, but also has a microphone inside , for auto tuning based upon fan noise as well as temperature.

UltimateLoad

Congrats! How is that 3080 running for you? You're fortunate to get one because they went quick.

UltimateLoad

You will need the Hue controller...

UltimateLoad

My tracking info now says it will be here by 8pm tomorrow.

UltimateLoad

Ordered mine on Sunday (10/4) and got a shipping notification about 2 hours ago.

UltimateLoad

If I'm not mistaken the smart controller needs one 2.0 connector, and the Z73 does also. Then there's the matter of using a 2.0 for case; that's where the internal hub will come in handy.

UltimateLoad

Looking like you got the Founders Edition; I've got the Gigabyte coming in my build.
