I don't care for Sekai much, I found the original characters bland, boring, and unappealing compared to other mobile rhythm games (I was extremely annoyed by emu or whatever the pink one was called), and I wasn't a fan of the covers either. I can play Diva and get all the high quality MVs,Outfits, and more engaging gameplay I want (also the diva room if I'm on f or f2ed) and not have to worry about a gacha where I can pull a character I don't want (since I only care about the vocaloids). There's a lot of mobile rhythm games that are just more appealing to me with more engaging art,story,gameplay,songs, or characters. I just don't see why I would pick sekai when I can play a higher quality vocaloid game on my console and then play something like idolish7,hypnosis mic,bandori,love live, or whatever else there is on mobile.

1) This is a dress up game with some visual novel like elements, but only really in the event scenarios and chat features, There really isn't a "story" you just talk to each girl and unlock different personalities to make them say different stuff. You can unlock special cutscenes for stuff like your birthday, holidays and reaching certain levels of affection/levels on a personality, the event scenarios can be unlocked by reaching a certain stage in whatever event is currently on going.
2) You can earn shells by making your girls work (under the actions tab) or doing daily quests. Reaching stages on events and earning medals (medals are random) is another way to get new clothes (you can spend medals on the medal gacha they're only good for the even they were earned in so you can't save them) NP is the premium currency and can only be bought with irl money or through grinding tapjoy
3) You can play concentration under the events tab it's a matching cards memory game (you can also get more clothes here) but that's about it
4) there is a monthly show off contest it's basically a fashion show where you can vote for what player made the best outfit for the theme
