I am also not MAGA and am a registered Democrat just to provide some context. I really want to get to the source of truth as best as I can.
Her father was a known military colonel of the dictatorial Siad Barre regime. In fact, on Leila Nur Said Elmi's public marriage certificate in the U.K., her father (Nur Said Elmi) has a listed occupation of military officer. When he arrived to the U.S. in 1995 with his family from a refugee camp in Kenya, he listed his name as Nur Mohamed Omar. The occupation of military officer matches the background of Nur Mohamed Omar. It is being investigated whether Nur Mohamed Omar is Nur Said Elmi. The DOJ has not yet looked to involve Leila yet as this would require international cooperation with U.K.
Ilhan was first legally married to her husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi (sharing same last name as Leila and also from the U.K.) who came to the U.S. to study. It is reported that Ahmed and Leila lived together. It is being investigated by DOJ if Leila and Ahmed are related directly to Ilhan. If this is true, it would be proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Ilhan's father committed immigration fraud. Since Ilhan received naturalization via her father, she would be denaturalized and eventually deported.
A lot of this is still under investigation but I would not want to be Ilhan right now. A judge signed off on the raid of a congressional member's home. This is not an ordinary thing to do and no, this is not political theater.
This is a deleted tweet posted in 2017 by Ilhan where she says happy birthday to her aabo (biological father in Somali language) Nur Said. This tweet has been recovered by the DOJ and is part of this investigation. This is a blatant admission by Ilhan that her father is in fact Nur Said who entered the U.S. with the false identity of Nur Mohamed Omar.

It's so funny that many noobs in this subreddit are starting to realize a 99% probability of success for an ongoing Phase III AML study was only as realistic as Santa Claus.

“They would see the incoming crash as an opportunity to make money as it climbs back”
Hedging is not a sign of confidence. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Insiders sell for various reasons, mostly due to tax obligations from RSUs received as salary, especially for successful companies. But selling in this way smells of disease. The CFO, for example, has profited over $600k assuming the small purchases he has made go to $0. This while CAPR retail bulls keep pushing the stock as if it’s not most likely another biotech failure. Retail could lose their money while insiders have already profited from manipulating SAPs to get the stock to jump while knowing they failed to reach stat-sig when comparing absolute change from baseline vs placebo.
I guess my point is there is context here and comparisons of CAPR to other companies where insider selling may exist is unhelpful.

I wish you could have added value to the conversation. I read through your response and I regret to say I’ve wasted my time. Everything you have said I am already familiar with. You essentially just copy and pasted the NRXP thesis.
Yes, they have a BZT-free ketamine, but no one seems to believe there is even a need for it. You mentioned people taking it twice weekly but have not provided any concrete evidence to show they get toxicities. You can’t because the amount of BZT is indeed negligible. This is what the practicing physicians are saying (the very people who you want to prescribe your drug.
Your wonderful CEO also talked about the need for market education regarding their amazing new ketamine. The market is gonna love it!

Been looking into C4 today. Very interesting stuff so far. Their platform is validated by Roche and Merk KGaA agreements (up to ~$2b milestones alone + royalties). Cemsidomide has shown promise early on but I wouldn't rely on early data. Most important is safety and that has been a concern. They may attempt accelerated approval if ORR and safety/tolerability is good enough next year.
About 30% of the float is short which is incredible for the type of company this is becoming. Even if they fail their trial, they have billions in non-dilutive capital from licensing their protein degrader platform to large pharmaceutical companies that want it. This will give them the capital needed to get more shots on goal before eventually finding success. And this is a much less ideal scenario. Roche and Merk KGaA could completely abandon the platform but this highly unlikely with the current environment of the sector (patent are expiring and everyone is looking for the next blockbuster).
The company does have massive warrant overhang (100m+) which could add a significant amount of the shares to the float. However, when accounting for dilution, the upside is still very strong in my assessment. It depends whether they can get strong early data and accelerated approval or not. Either way, monitor current/future agreements closely.
Unique-Helicopter955
Go listen to the recent call and it’s 5% dilution. It’s not extreme. I think you started investing Friday.
Unique-Helicopter955
This was well understood. They were going to do a raise to ramp capacity. Don’t cry now because your timing was off. It’s 5% dilution around current prices which is hardly anything. Share count will grow now to around 90m from 84m last quarter. It’s not a big deal and if it was I’d say it. Now they’ll have another $600m cash if they utilize full ATM. Now they’ll company can comfortably ramp into 2027.
Unique-Helicopter955
Fully agree. Business 101 is solving problems that exist. CEO seems to be solving a problem that doesn't exist and has to convince his entire market that it does with "education." Why do people have to be educated to know the problem is there? It should tangible and obvious to the human eye. To me, the only interesting part of NRXP is domestic supply chain of ketamine. The preservative nonsense just gives the company the ability to control their formulation and create some kind of a moat which is mostly regulatory. They don't even own their manufacturing process but CEO talks about it so much. Their NRX-101 pill sounds interesting, but like most biotech assets, it's most likely shit lol.
Unique-Helicopter955
I looked into this business today. The thesis that I’ve heard regarding supply monopoly is silly. FDA wouldn’t ban benzethonium chloride as this would cause a supply shock. They would likely stop new approvals of ketamine with benzethonium chloride IF they have an issue with it, to begin with. I don’t believe they do because the amount of this preservative being injected is so small it’s negligible. Practicing physicians don’t seem to have an issue with it either, even in off-label cases involving suicidal depression. This is just a way for a small company trying to differentiate selling a commodity in a highly competitive, saturated market.
So the only differentiation is the patent-pending, benzethonium chloride-free ketamine. I’m sure generic competitors wouldn’t find it worth the financial and legal risk, but NRXP is pushing for a ban of generic ketamine which is clearly just anti-competitive behavior that the FDA will not take seriously.
This is just more expensive ketamine for our medical system. Exactly what we needed lol
Unique-Helicopter955
What’s ur reasoning? You didn’t even give two cents u gave nothing. Annoying dumbass
Unique-Helicopter955
And this is the crux of the problem in my assessment. I don’t believe FMS carries strong enough distribution power (if at all) for HUMA because of its network of nephrologists. They can prefer what they want, but it ultimately comes down to the practicing surgeon and hospital VAC. Surgeon will ask why use ATEV when strict anti platelet therapy is necessary (ESRD are noncompliant)? VACs will ask what the total economic benefit is when adopting ATEV (good data from V012 study on catheter-free days being superior to AVF).
It doesn’t help that FMS is selling their HUMA stake.
Unique-Helicopter955
What I mean by HODL is that there comes a point when selling is appropriate. Your loss is so substantial that this would have minimal benefit. Simultaneously, it doesn’t mean HODLing is the better choice. It comes down to where this business goes in the coming months and years. Your loss could widen.
When you bought at $8, did you ever consider selling at $4? Now it’s $0.60. Did you consider selling at $2? Catalysts don’t seem to convert to meaningful upside for the stock and HUMA has had many.
Unique-Helicopter955
That’s like asking me why I watch comedy. This shit is hilarious. I nearly peed myself when I saw the stock drop hard after earnings and rightfully so.
Unique-Helicopter955
They don’t. Many are just averaging down on a biotech company. Not very bright if you ask me.
Unique-Helicopter955
FMS would only “support” the use of the technology because of its ambulatory centers which are used to manage those patients who exist in those clinics. Such management procedures are high margin for FMS.
Access procedures are not performed by FMS. Quit being emotional and just look it up. I don’t care to debate the obvious.
Unique-Helicopter955
I’m not surprised that this is what you took from my post. During severe drawdown, people become skeptical and almost tribal when confronted with such posts.
For clarification, I have no financial ties to the stock.
Unique-Helicopter955
You seriously need to work on your due diligence. FMS will NOT be a buyer of ATEV as they don’t do access procedures, hospitals do. Hospitals are not in any way obligated to make use of this expensive technology.
Regarding cash, HUMA doesn’t wait until they’re broke to raise. That’s not how it works. Lose the ego and it will benefit you. So far, you’re living up to your name.
