Ah, TWC.. I know this place all too well. You've been given great advice here. Definitely do not submit a resignation letter.

My husband and I were at a Wegmans a few weeks ago where someone opened up a large strawberry shortcake, ate a good chunk of it, then left it sitting on an end cap in the make-up area. It was a tad funny at first glance, but then it sort of hit us that someone did that not out of necessity because they were starving. But just because they were being assholes and stole half a cake and left the mess for employees to find.

This is 100% worth divorcing over. Is it possible he has a gambling problem? Regardless, he is hiding much more from you than just not paying the rent. Is it possible he lost his job and is hiding it from you? The fact that he doesn't let you in on any of the finances shows he's hiding something major.

Ngl, it actually drives me nuts how she runs away from him every five seconds in the beginning of their relationship. Not just the flailing of the arms and limbs, but just avoiding having to acknowledge anything. Even running from him in this scene was her avoiding any acknowledgement. She kisses him at Sookie's wedding, then runs away when she realizes she screwed up. She runs from him after each kiss after that, and my first time watching it made me feel like she was doing it on purpose to seem innocent and keep the "doe" persona she has. She's also a very avoidant person, just like Lorelai and Chris. Every "running away" interaction was so cringe to me.

This sounds super sketchy. How sure are you that he actually was at his parents house?

I just got out of these trenches recently, but I'm still sort of in it. He has severe reflux and not much has touched it, but he's starting to not cry as much (he's 3m). It is absolutely called the trenches for this reason. I have a lot of experience with babies, so I went into this knowing exactly what to expect with most outcomes that could potentially happen which really helped me. I will echo everyone else by saying you absolutely need to check yourself into a mental health facility as you have reached the severe level of PPD, PPA, and PPP, which can turn deadly quick. You can find a therapist very quickly, so instead of just looking for one and letting time fly by while things get worse, make a call now with one that specializes in this and tell them you need to be seen asap.
Now, I am going to give some tough love here. As you mentioned, you have posted about this same scenario before (which looks to be about a week ago). I did go back and read what you wrote then and the advice given to you at the time, and it's no different than what you're getting now. You're looking for one person to say "yes, give him up for adoption" but I don't think you're going to find it. Unfortunately, (I say unfortunately because as women, very few of us have partners who can truly advocate for us and step up to get us help asap when we aren't willing or able to) right now you are your own best advocate and need to put pressure on your psychiatrist and GP, and yourself, for help and to get with a therapist asap.
You've mentioned in previous posts/comments that you never wanted a kid, with one of the contributing factors being you have anger and anxiety issues that you hadn't worked through, that your husband also didn't want kids, but you both decided suddenly last year to go for it. I obviously don't know the situation in depth, but it sounds like you jumped into the deep end without really thinking/talking it through knowing how hard it is being parents to newborns and toddlers. While things WILL get better regarding his health issues and they absolutely do become the coolest little humans ever, there will always be something else to give you anxiety or frustration. You both made a choice to bring this little guy into the world. To give him up over something temporary like colic/reflux knowing it will get better, but also because you brought him into a situation you weren't prepared for, isn't fair to him. You are responsible for a life now, so it's time to listen to everyone here and on your previous posts and get yourself help via a therapist AND checking into a mental health facility for a little bit. This time SUCKS and it's scary. But you need to get help and triple confirm that you 10000% want to give him up for adoption AFTER receiving the help you desperately need. And to work through the anger and anxiety issues you had prior to pregnancy, keep seeing a therapist long after you get the help you need to get through these newborn trenches. I also struggled with depression, severe anxiety, and anger issues from a shitty childhood with a mom who never got the mental health help she needed. I forced myself to seek help with those things a few years before having my son because I knew it was a problem and would only push my generational trauma onto my future children, and I knew I needed to put the work in to give them a better version of me than what I was able to give them at the time.
You and your husband have to put in the work to get yourselves through this. You need to come up with a better way to tackle this together, because your current set up isn't working. Like others have mentioned, have him take a shift so you can get 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep, then you take over so he can. Sleep will absolutely help if you are setting it up every day like this, not just the weekends.
Please know my tough love truly does come from a place with love as someone who is just exiting those exact same trenches, but didn't have the support system you do outside of my husband. I had to be the one to sit down with my husband, come up with a few different options to help us both get sleep and even ideas on how to make things eaiser on ourselves by changing a few things around, then sought out help from a therapist moments after our conversation. I realized no one was going to do it for me (as much as I desperately wished someone could) and just did it. I know you are exhausted and ready to just scream as loud as you can until you lose your voice, but you need to force yourself to make some changes to help you both get through it and force yourself to actually get the help you need NOW. No waiting, no seeing how things play out in a couple of days, I mean right this minute. Because left untreated, your situation can turn deadly very quick and you will regret permanent choices made in this headspace.

Experiencing the same, but with a baby so I can't even leave my house right now because the flu is going around so badly.

She's doing this for attention. I had my drink spiked once and I literally couldn't function. Sure as hell wasn't able to text anyone like this. I only remember realizing something was wrong, quickly called the last person in my call log, told them where I was and that's the last thing I remember. They came and got me, took me home, and watched over me for the night to make sure I didn't need a hospital.
I used to know girls like her when I was younger. None of that happened, it was 100% made up for attention. Cut all communication and stay away.

DUMB HIS ASS! You should be so so so proud of yourself! Here's a cake to celebrate 💜🎂
Unique_Reflection_75
I'd block at this point. Any man who tried to tell me what to do got an immediate block. Fuck that shit.

Sands stepped away a few years ago. They aren't involved anymore.

I would have ended it before I closed that door behind me.

I think you are doing the right thing by calling it out and being realistic. If he wants to go, but doesn't want you to, and you have been transparent on what you want, then it definitely sounds like he isn't on that same timeline and wants differently. I would end it as well, if it were me. That's four years of your life taken by someone who doesn't seem to want the same things you do, and you could have found the love of your life, gotten married, and had a few kids by then. There's nothing wrong with what either of you want for your lives, but I don't agree with him stringing you along the whole time.

I would have LOVED if these were the signed cds! These are gorgeous. I personally won't be getting them because there really isn't an incentive for me to, but if they were signed I absolutely would have!
Unique_Reflection_75
Also, adding your SIL sounds exactly like my SIL. Thankfully, my brother is divorcing her. Without taking over your post, she said and did a lot of awful things, was a crunchy Christian Nationalist who would put quotation marks around the word brother when referencing him because he's adopted, etc. I'm so sorry your little one experienced that.
Unique_Reflection_75
HELLLLLL NO YOU AREN'T THE ASSHOLE! You showed way more restraint than I probably would have if someone hit and insulted my child.
Unique_Reflection_75
I understand completely. Used to be very close with my dad, but he turned MAGA and is deep in the hole with them. He didn't like my Facebook posts calling MAGA out and posting negatively on Trump, so he deleted me from all social media and said nothing. Until my sister did it to him in retaliation for doing it to me, then he blew up my phone, blaming it on me. He said if I wanted back in his life, I had to stop watching all the news stations I was watching (he's hard-core for Fox News). I said no. He knew I was pregnant with my first and only baby after YEARS of trying through fertility clinics and after 3 losses last year, but has not reached out once to check on me or his grandson. I have kept him up to date in group chats on the baby, but he's never reached out otherwise.
Unique_Reflection_75
We're missing a lot of info here. It depends on the concerns that were either brought to his attention or observed by him. Also, like you said, you may have taken it differently than he intended, especially if your husband didn't think he was being rude or implying you were a bad mom. There really could be medical/behavioral reasons he's suggesting these changes, but we're only getting one side of the story and aren't seeing what he, as a medical professional, is seeing.
Unique_Reflection_75
Places like this that say these things often aren't struggling to "find hard workers" but aren't keeping them because of management issues. I noticed after covid a lot of retail/restaurants that were hiring and saying "we can't keep any staff who want to work" had shitty management and awful work environments. They'd rather blame it on the people instead of taking a look at changes they need to make to keep employees.
Unique_Reflection_75
YUP! My step-dad was just put in prison for life for the exact same stuff she listed, and he groomed the kids and family into thinking it was all innocent.
Unique_Reflection_75
My step-dad was just sentenced to life in prison for the same thing, but little girls. Some of the details you described is exactly what he did. It flipped everyone's world upside down, but if you do that to kids, best believe you deserve to rot. Did you take him to the doctor to confirm? You really, REALLY need to get your husband involved. This is not okay and you are allowing other children to possibly be abused by him by not speaking up. Children, especially that little, wouldn't make that up.

Thanks! This was 2 years ago, and I have a great remote position now!
