Also please please talk to your doctor about your fears and communicate challenges along the way. You'll make their day by being a good patient and quitting! So many times their recommendations fall on death ears, it contributes to their burn out. 

Cold turkey is considered the hardest. Also, don't be ashamed. I've never smoked or Vaped, but had an eating disorder. We ALL have vices, just some are harder than others. If you are in the US search for your state quitline. You do not have to have a plan, you just have to call (or chat). The free coaches are non judgemental and if they are, ask for someone else! You. Got. This. 

Do you live in the US? States have free quit services (counseling and sometimes medication). People try to quit by themselves but studies show that medication and coaching help by a lot! Slip ups are also part of the process, just don't give up!
