Which one is before? Usually left is before but based on the complaint, it seems like left is after

I neither suggested they should cater to a small player base nor expressed that mass appeal was a bad thing; in fact I embrace it. Many of the changes this season are arguably mass appeal: new UI; more advanced, chaotic destruction; solo party mode.
I don't think that new content is the same thing as mass appeal.
UrPokemon
I agree 100%. Content is not the key to long term success. Measured, precise balance and system changes is. Look at CS, it hardly changes year on year and yet it has a healthy player base indefinitely. Look at WoW, a game where players hate new content so much they yearn to play the old stuff again and again.
I'm not smart enough to know what the key is, I just know that content isn't all there is to it. What makes a game good, what gives it a healthy player base, it's something else.

I mean, a good remake of Halo CE would be welcomed by me. Anniversary got the art direction wrong; remake got...well, a lot of things wrong.
Halo CE is a legend, so it's hard to live up to. But we've seen remakes of iconic games go well from other companies. It'd be nice to have a proper Halo CE remake.
Or Halo 3 remastered with multiplayer, forge, and proper classic matchmaking/lobbies.

And we were right

Idk why you're getting downvoted. Im pretty sure you're correct.
I bought arc raiders and returned it because it wasn't really my thing. Had the skin in the finals, and lost it. I don't see why a free weekend would behave any differently.

Is that Rajbert Patelinson on the left?
UrPokemon
Not really, no. We don't talk much.
I know that she spent the next year having casual relationships with people. But I don't know how long she "waited," nor is it really my business or my problem.
She has a new partner now and so do I. The trajectory of our lives wasn't, and still isn't, pointing us in the same direction; so the idea of reuniting was taken off the table for both of us shortly after the break up.
Could it happen? Maybe. I feel hurt by it all but I don't feel incapable of forgiving.
But neither of us seem to care much for the idea of staying in touch at this point. So unfortunately, I don't have that answer for you.

I was with a girl for 7 years.
Toward the end she moved away because she had a graduate program to attend and I was midway through my studies.
We were long distance for a couple months and then a week before my birthday, she called me and broke up with me in a 15 minute phone call. I had a ticket to go and visit her on my birthday weekend; she knew about it and we were texting back and forth about how we were excited for it.
This crushed me. I thought I was going to be with her the rest of my life; I genuinely couldn't imagine the future without her. I was going to end my life over it.
The details are fuzzier, now that some time has passed. But in about a month I initiated a physical relationship with someone. Not because I didn't love my ex, I loved her greatly, but because the brutality of the end left me so empty.
That physical relationship was a key part of pulling myself together. Feeling deserving of love, feeling as though the end of my past relationship didn't have to be the end of relationships altogether.
It's hard to have a logical/rational argument about this sort of thing. But you'd have a hard time convincing me I didn't love my ex for the 7 years I was with her simply on the basis that I had a sexual relationship with someone else shortly after. Sometimes, you have to fight the love away, because the other person doesn't want it to exist.

I'm glad that people are saying the gameplay is fun.
But part of what made CE so iconic was it's cinematic quality. Every custscene I've seen so far is a bastardization of the original.

I also went Pixel 7 to 10a, for me it was battery degredation on my 7.
I was tempted between it and the pixel 9. The pixel 9 is an interesting competitor since it's similar in price on eBay (a little more expensive) and has the bigger sensors for the main and UW cameras like the 10 pro. I think it MIGHT be possible to tell the difference in quality but here's why I went with the 10a:
Phone cameras will always be more utility to me than for look and the battery on the 10a is bigger than any other pixel (except the 9a).
The flat back also allowing me to feel comfortable running caseless for the first time in 10 years was appealing. And vs the 9a, the 10a warranty made up for the difference in price to me.

With how bombastic the action is in the original series, I'm convinced this is true. Or at worst an alternate universe where bending is more subtle/limited.
As much as bending an action is important, I'm just craving some good writing man. Charismatic characters, interesting politics, and themes that are actually well explored.

I haven't seen the show at all, but if I had to guess, it's making fun of the trope of evil people drinking milk. For whatever reason, media has demonstrated the derangement of evil people through the consumption of dairy. Some examples include characters from A Clockwork Orange, Anton Chigur from No Country for Old Men, Homelander from The Boys.

I'm very excited for everyone who'll get it. I do wish they used the no mouth destroyer helmet though...then I'd consider figuring out how to get the skin myself as a PC player

I thought Tiny Mike was a part of a Regina gig that wasn't in the game when it launched, whereas scorpion was in the game since day 1
UrPokemon
Well, if they're targeting that release schedule, this is how they would do it. They would need to be concurrently developing all 3 games which would require either a large amount of staff and/or (at the very least) no work on post launch content.

The surveillance age makes these sort of "shameful" things harder to engage in. You can't go to hooters with your buddies because now it's a permanent mark against your public character

Didn't help martian man very much. At least, once Nolan got to his head

What if they changed it so that equipment found in-run was compromised; and during preparation, equipment could only be put into the equipment slot (with stacking being returned).

I'd love for them to find a new niche for goo gun (since players are seemingly very against it's use for CC and cash out protection), but I don't know what that will be.
Goo, like any reinforcement tool, is only mildly helpful because players don't actually have to contend with it and have multiple tools to bypass it. This is the same reason turret is horrible, it gets placed, the cashbox gets moved to a new floor, the turret now doesn't even participate in the defense.
Yes, blocking a lane is helpful, but never helpful enough by itself. Goo nade, for instance, is very useful because it blocks lanes AND can quickly slow down someone pursuing you/give you cover from them.
Goo gun is similar. It blocks lanes (better than nade) moves the cashbox (like winch but worse) stop steals (better than nade) allows you to slow down pursuers (less than nade) AND lets you close the gap as the slowest class in the game (like winch but different)
The bonuses over nade are justified by it being a specialization rather than a gadget.
Removing the CC cuts those last 3 points (although maybe it'll continue to stop steals?). And now goo gun is just a different and less practical goo nade with some of (but not enough of) winch's perks. It blocks more lanes (which isn't helpful enough), but is worse at stopping pursuers.
Maybe goo from goo gun should have more health than other types of goo? Call it metal reinforced and give it a metallic look? I don't know.

It's time for 343 to demonstrate, once again, that they don't have the sauce old Bungie had or that new Bungie has. Microsoft needs to let some other studio make Halo, or at least a spin off to get some interest in the franchise while they put something mainline together.
It's just like Game Freak with Pokemon. A bunch of poorly made games in the mainline, then Koei Techmo makes Pokopia, one of the best Pokemon games in a long time.
Oh I see, I understand now, thanks
