She needs professional help, or she won’t get better. Sorry. Obviously she has childhood trauma impacting this behavior but that doesn’t make it ok or excusable.

The title is hiding the real issues. Her reaction is totally out of proportion to the situation. Unless you’re leaving out very significant details, absolutely NTAH, and seriously consider if this is a relationship you want to continue to pursue.

Using ‘fertility’ as a stand-in for reproduction is a terrible terrible standard and makes it sound like there’s a fertility crisis. There’s not, people can’t afford to reproduce and are choosing to not act irresponsibly like used to be encouraged. Fewer unwanted and abused kids is a good thing. If people are worried about the declining population they should do something to make our society less excruciating instead of whining about young people.

Some of them I’ve had a hard time focusing on reading in print but listening to them (maybe on Libby via the library or other auditory apps) has been fun and easy.

The only SW book I haven’t finished one way or another is Ronin.
