3 is my fave

The 28mm is good for tight urban areas.

Nice set of pics. I love the ZF for night photography. Are you using a tripod or handheld?
Various_Designer9130
I love my 50mm 1.8s. I do wish it had an aperture ring, but it is really an amazing lens.
Various_Designer9130
By "lens distortion" do you mean because it is a wide angle and you prefer something more "normal"? Or is there something about that particular lens?
Various_Designer9130
if you're adapting, I hear the sony 24mm is quite good too

1 makes me feel something. I'd go 1.

Nice set

Wow, great set of photos. Good storytelling.

fingers crossed

Just looking at the weight of that lens. Only 675g for v2. Just a couple hundred more grams than my 50mm 1.8s. Not bad. Although, in Canada it's almost 4K! Ouch.

interesting!

I'm in the same boat!

thanks

I've been looking at this. It's a chonker of a lens, but everyone raves about it. Even used, it's still quite pricey, too!
Various_Designer9130
Yes, with my 28 2.8, I usually stop it down to 5.6 where it is at its best. But, my 50mm 1.8 is sharp at 1.8. I just notice such a huge difference when I go from the 28 to the 50. The 50 is a banger of a lens. I just want a wide one like that.
Various_Designer9130
cool, i'll check it out.

Buying a J45 ended GAS for me.

In both these cases, I prefer the portrait orientation!
Various_Designer9130
Much improved.
Various_Designer9130
Thanks. One of my faves from the set, for sure.
Various_Designer9130
Thanks.

Nice shots, model, and edits. Really consistent and hang together nicely as a set.
I forgot to change the aperture 😃. I was at 2.8 and didn't think to stop down for the dog.... live and learn.
