Ah, that explains it! Thanks

Verus_Sum

"Rhi" from "brenin"? How did that come about, I wonder 😅

Verus_Sum

Yeah, I'm familiar with 'sgod a 'sglod

Verus_Sum

Need electricity or car not go. Not need pay for games go.

Verus_Sum

"Pen ôl" yn ffafryn plant bach a phlant mawr, wrth gwrs!

Verus_Sum

As the other commenter said, no. Basically the same through the game. A few unique fights, but a lot of similar ones. I'm not sure I'd say MotB is any different in that respect though, so this may just not be the game for you.

I think there are custom modules which may be different, but I've not played any for NWN2 myself.

Verus_Sum

The thing is, I like easy because I play for the story, so the best thing about it is that it's optional.

Verus_Sum

Mmm, I agree with your morals here, I'm just not convinced of the impact that such self-sacrifice would have.

Verus_Sum

Hmm, an interesting point. I use Windows and don't see ads though, so I wonder if all they're getting could be the data in which case it probably isn't nothing but it probably isn't a lot more than they were getting when the user wasn't playing the game.

Verus_Sum

Would Microsoft benefit financially from it being on Windows like they would with Xbox? I would assume not. And I doubt their game is going to specifically encourage anyone to use Windows. Wouldn't that just be cutting off their nose to spite their face?

Verus_Sum

Dw i bob amser yn chwerthin at yr arwydd (gair cywir?) yn y gwasanaethau Cardiff Gate sy'n darllen "Dynion Toiledau". Am flynyddoedd mae wedi bod yno!

"Beth bynnag, fi ddaeth ag e i'r byd. Fi fydd yn ei gynnal." (O Nest Ferch Rhys gan Marged Berry)

Verus_Sum

Thanks. I dare say they've undersold it in the description - no mention of Calvin Klein models anywhere 🙃

Verus_Sum

Haha Yeah, I almost described him as handsome - the contrast with the basic ones was pretty striking!

Verus_Sum

To be fair, the sorceror one probably goes for any kind of power!

Was the character's face from a/the mod? I've played base game many times and I've looked odd each and every one.

I don't know what the proper tongue position is, never having successfully done it, but I have it curled up and almost touching the bit between the gums and where it rises to the palate, if I've understood the terms corrently. I can do the rhotic R, but I can't get my tongue to vibrate at all!

Verus_Sum

Yeah, I'd be very surprised if everyone could do it. I reckon it's like twisting your tongue.

Verus_Sum

I grew up in Wales, learning Welsh, but I just can't do it. I've read of 'relaxing your tongue', but I've never been able to understand that concept. I always get something akin to a soft "d-d-d-d" or "dd-dd-dd-dd" (the Welsh letter) when I try to do it. Don't honestly think I'm capable!

Verus_Sum

Hehe To be clear, I'm not genuinely offended

Verus_Sum

Hey, I'm 35 1/4, you know. I'm nearly all growed up 😠

Verus_Sum

Which modules are those?

I've played Prophet (really enjoyed the story but some mechanics were a little annoying, like trying to move on the sloping hills) and am doing the Aielund Saga (really into it up to the end of chapter 3, when I had to use god mode to get through it, now trying to get back into it).

Verus_Sum

She what? 😮

Verus_Sum

Diddorol iawn, diolch. Dw i ddim wedi cyffwrdd a "hwy" o flaen.

Verus_Sum

Diolch yn fawr. Rhaid i fi atgofio fy hun o meddwl 'cymal perthynol' (gyda'r cefnogaeth y GPC), ond rwy'n credu dw i 'di deall y rhan fwyaf o hynny. Felly, beth oedd yr ateb i PC (postiwr cyntaf)? Os gall brawddeg cael "nhw" wedi cuddio, nac ydy hyn yn gweithio gyda unrhyw brawddeg?

Verus_Sum

I see it now. Having grown up with Welsh I always took those constructions for granted. Thinking about it, the conjugational charts on Wiktionary are rather lacking, given this aspect of the language isn't included in them.

And, to confirm, "Collasant y rhyfelwyr eu gwaed" is incorrect? I still don't feel a wrongness from it, but I'm hardly familiar with literary forms!
