Couldn’t they ask “why didn’t you ask to have the products of conception examined?”? I think you are underestimating how some family can be REALLY pushy and unable to just accept “I didn’t want to find out or ask” as an answer. I have a friend who was in a similar situation. While her parents and partner may believe the story, they still may be upset she didn’t find out what was wrong like in my friend’s case. Logically I can understand why, you would probably want to know what the problems with the pregnancy were in order to see if you can avoid those next time (if there is a next time). They could also ask “why didn’t you wait longer to see what would have happened?” as just 2 days later is quite soon. It would definitely work for some family but I know it would still cause problems for others, it depends on what OP’s family is like.

I can relate. I never played with baby dolls either. My parents bought them for me but I just cut their heads off and threw them out and just kept their pretty clothes and accessories and stuff like that. Clearly I was never meant to have children 😂
