My 2c and counter opinion.

PC all the way for me! Amazing to play in 21:9 with proper fov expansion and high resolution.

No performance issues and no game breaking bugs that you can't easily recover from.

+Mods can expand the game into entire new things.

Seen too many fun games bog down if not outright break on the switch (1&2)

Anything I really want to enjoy I'll get on something better.

Other games are worse. If you like this game you may really enjoy graveyard keeper. I got that on switch first and it was so bad by mid game I had to buy it again on PC.

Should not have been allowed as a release.

ViciousXUSMC

Basically same setup, more automation and scale and doubled for me and my wife.

Two player VR with your partner adds a lot.

I prefer FTP for my over network transfer and of course these are android devices so with development mode you can do about anything.

ViciousXUSMC

He is, based on his description.

ViciousXUSMC

Yes exactly that is the last thing I was saying "otherwise restarting" meaning if all else fails restarting is the last resort.

I think I speak in the old tongue or something lol

ViciousXUSMC

Problem becomes when you need the port for headphones, or other USB connected devices it becomes a monstrosity quick with this not supporting data.

ViciousXUSMC

This game and a couple of others are games that were a crime to release on switch 1/2 (grave keeper was another great one that was similar)

The console simply cant keep up with late game demand and starts to run like crap. Its also much more prone to stuff like this. A PC version would have had a cloud save and easier recovery options.

The only way I see to save this is to know how to edit your save otherwise restarting.

ViciousXUSMC

Yeah... you clearly missed EVERYTHING I said, and if that is the case I know its not going to help me or you to explain it to you in more detail or further than I already did

Those batteries from Ecoworthy were like $650 each (I got them cheaper with a deal) and the racks were like $200 I think.

So as pictured 60KwH and racks about ~$8000 and then I got my tax credit and cut that more.

If I was building this for someone I dunno maybe $10K but id also not do the batteries seen here. I'd go for those $2000 16kWh batteries and get 6-8 of them.

They can stack right on top of one another and I'd put machine grade rollers on the bottom.

That's the best setup for the money, not as pretty or as covered.

So you can still use a rack.

A smart move for space is a used enterprise server rack get a 40U rack and you can put them all one one vertical stack.

Just ensure you get a good one with known weight rating.

Oh and P.S. these racks are using Bus Bars so the batteries are super inter connected. No balancing issues all batteries are electrically bonded in parallel.

ViciousXUSMC

That is the battery being built that is the case. Look close its not put together yet, have not even bolted down the bus bars, let alone put the top on.

This battery is WAY more safe than any Ecoflow battery. Metal case, multiple protections, including fire extinguisher built in. Actual known Class A cells with a certified rating.

That's why I can talk about this stuff as an inhouse expert. I don't just buy this stuff I design it, build it, and install it (certified solar installer)

The batteries that power the home are these.

That 16kWh battery above just powers a couple of Delta 3 Plus units to give them 16x capacity for cheap and allow me to send more solar power to them than designed out of the box (increasing capabilities without taking them out of spec for cheap)

30kWh each rack, on wheels easy to roll around, move, and quick disconnect on 200A andersons. So faster/easier than Ecoflow battery connections! Also this has so many more protections including proper Class-T fuses that this battery tech should be using.

Proper UL listed equipment allowed to grid interconnect I sell just as much power as I use giving me a true $0 power bill (and a check from the power company year end that puts money in my pocket)

I mean first of all if you want to hang something use a hanger not a fan... lets not walk backwards in intelligence.

The meme car is so annoying anyways since every video is based on a demo that we can never recreate. The rocket car has two explosive devices on board, no trunk, no passenger seat for 8 seconds max "hoover time"

They are not selling it to public, and most of the features that do make it will be locked down and restricted because they would not be road legal to operate.

So yay track only mode I guess?

ViciousXUSMC

For me during interviews I always catch onto peoples knowledge and confidence. The resume is not extremely important to me as I expect so much "fluff" on them.

I want to see how you think, how you respond, and get a feel for how you would work as a part of my team.

This is a Jr role, you can train even senior role skills into the right person, but you cant change their inherent traits. Such as the traits that determine how well they will learn.

So I don't know for me it has always just come natural.

Beyond that if you really truly have a candidate that seems good, then do the post check follow up. Actually verify the references and such.

If they provide no way to validate work history or references, then it may honestly carries just the same weight as being made up. This is Cyber - Trust but Verify in all that we do.

ViciousXUSMC

Honestly it reminds me of Mirror's Edge a lot
With all the VR mods of late, that game might be pretty easy to port to VR and give way MORE of this feeling.

Give me a parachute I am game.

ViciousXUSMC

I taught myself everything I have ever known.
Most people would always come to me as the "top guy" and over the years I have moved up past System Admin.

Now I am Cyber Sec Architect and work directly with the System Architect's daily.
Engineers report to the Architects, Admins report to the Engineers.

There are passionate people like me that share this stuff for free. You can find a ton of free training on my YouTube for say CCNA and stuff. Now we have AI tools and all these other resources.

Should be easier to learn now than ever, but also more important than ever that you learn to "fact check" as there is more misinformation and outright incorrect information out there now than ever before and a lot more "influencers" that act like they know stuff and all they know how to do is entertain for views.

ViciousXUSMC

Getting F1 car to run on a Mud Track will only offer so much.
You can get around the lap though with extreme care and compromise.

The only reason this makes sense to me as a person with experience:

You want to get this projector now on sale as an investment, and you plan to follow up with a screen in short order.

If you do not plan to do that, this is a wasted investment. Get a cheaper projector and a screen.

ViciousXUSMC

About $0.20 is all that AI image took IMO

ViciousXUSMC

I did this to start with, they simply are not big enough or cheap enough for solar savings. That is a power backup plan. A proper system will be much cheaper for capacity, output, etc and also can generate you power for your entire home as needed. If you have sell back then you can sell excess power.

I even took this idea and was one of the first to really expand it. Been running my own extermlnal solar and batteries to my power stations since the beginning and expanded them with the battery hacks that everyone now knows (and copied)

ViciousXUSMC

*Dont use expensive proprietary batteries for comparison. $2K for 16kWh all day is a standard rate for batteries. Higher quality cells than Eco as well. 8000 Cycle Eve Cells.

3P owner and not sure what you want to do but I almost never use it.

Action cams, 360 cams, or a real gimbal for a different camera always take the win.

I hated setting up a cheap phone gimbal for my phone. But I found the quality and results worth it and I saved myself the worst part of all the data transfer.

ViciousXUSMC

I have never regretted spending too much, but I have regretted buying specific gear that I never wear.

ViciousXUSMC

1.) Seems to be a personal issue, network stuff and computer stuff is not just "it works" your environment could be creating the problem.

Always could be hardware failure too, but not as likely.

2.) I feel this way about every headset. That's why the vive pro audio head strap was always my favorite and I saw plans for similar for the frame.

3.) Can't speak to this except your the first to mention it.

4.) Yep again every headset sucks IMO always added after market battery straps.

5.) The real reason I posted at all. I don't have mine yet so I can't speak directly to the device hardware but I know for a fact it has access to probably the largest game library out there.

So that makes me take the other things you said with a higher degree of scrutiny.

I just used a sewing machine for the first time. Had to figure out the entire thing, from unboxing to setting up.

My leather rider vest had some odd shape patches and I had very good luck just using a free motion foot and taking my time.

I used ungodly thick thread and that maybe made it harder (TEX69) but totally doable.

Biggest hint, hand turn the wheel when needed, it was simply too fast for the large stich length I was going for and on leather less holes the better.

ViciousXUSMC

USB Device Viewer way better part of Microsoft SDK

I'll build a guide for it soon

ViciousXUSMC

Tag: When I get mine I'll investigate and see if I can find a way to make a guide on common issues.

For now go buy a USB 3.1 extension cable. It's going to work way better with line of sight and being away from the other parts of the computer that cause signal interference.

I'll cover how to look up your internal USB block diagram so you can find the best port to plug it into (for real, not just colors but actual data)

How to scan network traffic for interference, etc.
