Boot jack for my Cowboy boots

I am a medicolegal Death Investigator here in Texas. Some of the experiences I had have trouble me for a bit, even though I am an atheist. Most notably, as when people are dying, the end of life visitations they supposedly say they received from people that have died in their life in the past. I have always found it tremendously fascinating working in the medical examiner or mortuary field, and seeing these experiences from the mortuary side firsthand. It happened with my own dad who supposedly was talking to his deceased sister an hour before he died, or my grandma who was talking to my grandfather, who had passed away. Being in this field has allowed me to talk to other families as well who have shared these experiences of their relatives that were dying and they were talking to and hallucinating deceased relatives. Even if it can be proven scientifically and it’s nothing more than a coping mechanism of the brain, why do these hallucinations only involve deceased relatives, and friends and not a living relative that maybe isn’t their right right now to be with them. I just think it’s tremendously fascinating.
