I strongly considered the Golf R before ultimately buying a CTR, and I would agree with you that it's very well rounded but there are a few aspects that are too obviously subjective:
1) The back seats are comfortable considering the size of the vehicle but the cargo space is pretty small. The Civic definitely wins here.
2) The infotainment screen is laughably huge; the little shifter "lever" is silly and the overall ergonomics (lack of physical buttons) is a turnoff for a lot of people.
3) The car is fast, the DSG is great, and it's fun to drive but it will never feel as engaging as a manual, so for people that desire that driving experience, it will always feel lacking.

are the polished tips OEM?
Vir1lity
I especially love that you swapped to the old badge. I plan on doing that when mine comes in.
Vir1lity
It's generally a good idea to go back and retorque bolts to spec after driving the vehicle when you do suspension mods. what you are experiencing is not uncommon.
Vir1lity
anticipating appropriate turnaround times and being honest with customers up front is part of the job. Not saying it's easy, but there's no excuse for this.
Vir1lity
I totally understand this concept but taking on more volume and thus making more money is no excuse to provide poor service to people that have already paid and are expecting what they were quoted. And to be fair, I would be ok with a turnaround time extended by a week or two but double to triple their original quote is unacceptable IMO.
Vir1lity
They advertised a 15-20 day turnaround time, and gladly took my money for it. It's reasonable for me to assume that a company that has been doing this for over a year and especially one that utilizes AI can properly estimate timing, at least within a reasonable margin. What "research" should one do, oh wise one?
Vir1lity
but yet if you pay more money and submit at a higher tier, your stuff gets graded. There's no business integrity here.
Vir1lity
yes, and my previous submissions were turned around within the estimated timeframe. Why is this so hard for you to comprehend?
Vir1lity
ummmm, you're kidding right? They took my money BEFORE I knew how they'd treat me. The cognitive dissonance with some of you people is off the charts.
Vir1lity
Properly estimating timeframes is part of the job, and missing those estimates by 2X-3X is unacceptable in ANY service-related industry, especially when they take your money up front.
Vir1lity
They must be the worst business people. This would be a great opportunity for them to take market share away from PSA but all they are doing is pushing people away. It's an absolute joke that they cannot properly estimate their turnaround times.
Vir1lity
oh man, I didn't realize I was part of the problem. Thanks for helping me see the light.
Vir1lity
I was thinking this same thing but apparently not.
Vir1lity
You can only call this “the norm” because people like you accept it as such. I’m a Project Manager and if my projects took 2-3 times longer than estimated, I wouldn’t have a job. You’re saying it’s normal to advertise an arbitrary timeline, take someone’s money and their cards, and then sit on both for however long suits them? They get away with it because people like you accept it instead of holding them accountable. We can debate all day whether this is “normal” but it’s certainly unacceptable and unethical.
Vir1lity
And you think that’s ok?
Vir1lity
Please elaborate, genius
Vir1lity
Yes, multiple times with TAG and PSA and it’s never been this bad. I’m well aware of the “norm” but this is a trash precedent for any respectable business to set.
Vir1lity
I also think it's mostly fatigue. Nothing against the quality of the content, but most of the videos are over an hour now and there is so much overlap.
Vir1lity
It's definitely ironic that the same people that "love Jesus" also grift for gambling sites non stop.
Vir1lity
especially because he's hitting on the 7 iron setting. He needs to be hitting on driver with the stickers on the face to get more accurate readings
Vir1lity
Wouldn't a proper lesson teach you how to hit the ball regardless of the equipment?
Vir1lity
I feel like it's more realistic that they will remain independent with a GG sponsorship, similar to JNA.
I have a truck that is my daily so my CTR is basically a weekender, and while I see your point and there are definitely cars that I would rather drive on the weekend, the CTR is something I can enjoy with the kids and we can cruise and go to meets as a family.
