I worked at a dine in carry out resturant and we had online QR orders too. i confirmed the order with the people who were there and it was pretty easy. but we still had a register i could take orders from. it was stressful managing where dine in orders went for (12) tables, call in orders, togo orders and food delivery apps by myself. but otherwise it isn’t horrible when you get the hang of it. people can wait it’s not the end of the world.

exactly. not tipping your sever isn’t going to change the culture, it’s just rude. also i personally think that the high customer service is directly related to tips. i don’t think that customer service would be as good without it. i try and give a really good service every time because i enjoy doing it. but if someone is paid $10 an hour to serve and doesn’t get tips you’re gonna get $10 service.

i hate it when they make a big deal about why they aren’t going to tip you like it’s some moral stance you’re making about wages & whatever. just don’t tip me i don’t need a TED talk.
