This is a very old comment, but no (good) relationship counsellor would ever chastize an individual for prioritizing their needs in a relationship. That's what you're supposed to do.

You need to make your needs known and recognize when they aren't being fulfilled. Putting others needs before your own is nice in theory, but doing it constantly in a relationship leads to resentment. Self sacrifice is not healthy. You should never be in a relationship where the entire basis is you putting the other person's needs ahead of your own. That's a great way to end up hating each other lmao.

There is a world of difference between self care and selfishness. Not a lot of people seem to recognize that.

I'm not exactly sure about these kind of things since I'm not a game developer, but generally taking workshop content/mods and implementing them into games is a somewhat tricky concept. Sanctioning mods is their method of doing this and it works fine. These mods are tiny and primarily simple UI changes, so it's not like having a dozen of them is a big deal. They don't really conflict with each other. It boils down to credit and ownership of this kind of content. You're looking at them giving credit/payment to these creators for all these small implementations and that can get pretty complicated. This is also a game nearing the end of its life cycle within the next couple years. They're more likely to implement this stuff in Darktide but it simply isn't going to happen in this game.

Aside from claptrap, the first two games weren't nearly as cringey and had some legitimately funny moments. 3 is far worse with far more regularity.

I've been working in kitchens for about 5 years and the current job I have is by far the best I've had because the owners are hardly there at all. They let the chef and sous chef take care of everything, and they're two of the nicest dudes I've ever met. I'm still getting out of the industry due to money primarily. The only way I'd stay is running my own kitchen and I don't think I could handle that workload with my fucked up body. Baking maybe.

There's actually some legitimately great knives on AliExpress. I'm probably gonna order a Dengjia or Shi Ba Zi cleaver for $40 CAD. Keemake and Xinzuo supposedly make pretty good stuff using AUS10 and VG10 steels. Lots of Chinese manufacturers use 9cr18mov or 10cr15comov which are quite good steels. You can get some duds for sure due to poor quality control, but some stuff is great value. ChefPanko on YouTube has a lot of videos reviewing AliExpress knives; he's great.

That's bizarre. I've been working in kitchens for 6 years and where I live people don't care about culinary school at all; especially if you're working as a line cook. Prep is a bit of a different beast where culinary education can actually make a difference, but I've never seen it as a requirement. Experience is generally valued a lot more.

That's why I'm saying it's more complicated than gender. Like I said, I personally say I'm straight but I don't care. I don't hide the fact I've had sex with men, I'm just not attracted to probably 99% of men. I don't feel saying I'm bi is accurate even though saying I'm straight isn't accurate either. It's easier to say I'm straight than to explain the specifics of my sexuality. It's not about denying my sexuality, it's more indifference. If people want to call me bi I really don't care and I won't fight them on it. You could more accurately say I'm a gynephile, but I don't care to call myself such.

There absolutely are. The problem, I feel, is actually equating sexuality to a preferred gender and not other criteria like masculine/feminine qualities. Attraction is a complicated thing that includes a lot more factors than just "male or female." I generally don't have much attraction to men, but I'm attracted to femininity and I don't really care about gender. I consider myself straight, but I've had sex with men who possess more feminine qualities and would be open to dating a man if I met the right person. It's simply because obviously, women are generally more feminine and men are generally more masculine. My girlfriend thinks I'm bi, but I don't really care how my sexuality is referred to. I think there's probably a lot of men like me who simply aren't attracted to "masculinity," but they don't want to be considered gay or bi due to stigma. The way we think about sexuality is just too rigid in general.

For people concerned about prices, the Epiphone SG pro is actually very decent. I like to buy cheaper guitars and then mod them however I like to really make them my own. A lot of people think modding Gibsons is heresy or something. With a pickup/replacement and some light neck sanding it sounds and plays fantastic. Also I wanted an arctic white SG and it's very hard to find a Gibson one lol.
